ginger ale was 3.50 euros. expensive compared to the average of 2.5 or 2.75 nearby. food quality is good 👍. portions are small. falafel and beef 🍔. left with a hungry feeling.

Went here for dinner tonight. Turned out they did not accept cards. We only had a 100 euro note as tourists and they refused to accept this and preferred to send us to the supermarket across the street to see if we could change it...for smaller bills. Basically they didn’t care that there we wouldn’t be able to eat and that there are few restaurants nearby. Will not be coming here again.More
My husband and I visited here twice during our stay in Brussels. It was just a couple blocks from our apartment which was convenient. The first tine we each ordered a pistolet and a coffee (they were both excellent!) and the next visit we came...for dinner for ramen-which was only ok.More
.. but nice. 4 euro for a small beer is very pricy in a town where beer is more consumed than water. But atmosphere seems nice. Still have to try the food there. Next visit.
We went for a drink and we liked the atmosphere being very casual. Various selections of beers and they also serves food. Absolutely to be recommended.
We arrived at 5.30pm and unfortunately till 7.00 pm we havent received our snacks. The girl in the bar advised that they are too many people and there is a delay. This is unacceptable waiting for 1.30m just for cheese and hummus!!not client focus at...all!!More
The food was fine, although the noodles in the ramen were Maggi instant noodle quality. For some reason we ended up with a whole bottle of cava, when I’d wanted a jug of wine cocktail. Oh well. The young boy on the bar had a...very tenuous grasp of English. That’s ok, was better than my halting French. Nice atmosphere. Had an enjoyable meal.More
Trendy look, promissing menu, but was not really fullfilled. We were quite a big group, it took a long time before we got our drinks. We were affraid for the waiting time of the food but that was ok. It was not very warm anymore...and we did not all got sticks and spoons and forks. I will give it another try, but not with a groupMore
Went here for pre-theatre drinks and quick dinner. A nice terrace with a few cosy sofas and mostly small chairs and tables. They fill up fast but many of the huge windows open up so you won't feel locked in inside. A good selection of...beers with Belgian Beer Project products and the country's finest, Bertinchamps. As in most of its sister establishment the place runs with very little staff, so you order and pay at the counter, and go back to pick up your food when your pager flashes. That is ok but what is not is that tables are sticky and dirty and empty glasses remain. The food was soso - gyoza were crispy but cold and served without dipping sauce or soya. The donburi was a big bowl of rice with an uninspired selection of different veggies on top. Other than the bowl, there was very little that would even vaguely come close to any form of donburi or chukadon (中華丼).More
Service is very SLOW - specially during lunchtime - Saying you have to many orders while 10 tables - served already - ( from the 50 ) are occupied is not really cool. 40 min waiting time is a little to much for a place...like this... It's not the first time you forget something from our order, as well as forks and knives. What's not cool either is when you clean up our table while my plate is still full... just ask, i mean it's your job.... And now i'm still hungry... It's a pity because it's a beautiful place and nice food. I'm disappointed with the service... If your boss reads this I hope he's making you find an other job...More
new mgmt has transformed this place to top one very tasty, casual food. very good drinks, friendly stuff. spreken prima NLs 😊
too salty and too sour spread (boterham forrestier). Not tasty at all, even during the war. All strange dishes on the menu.
Quite hip bar. Nice drinks and some 'special' beers from draft as well. Apperently the burgers are quite good. We don't advice to take a cake or cookie...
Hey Martijn! Thanks for your comment ! Could you tell us what was the problem with the cookies / cake ? Thanks in advance !
We got there by chance, the food menu is pretty short so we ordered the Flamingo Burger with fries and I dare to say that those were the best fries I've ever had. The place is also really cool and the people are nice. You...have to order at the bar.More
Thanks a lot :) Hope to see you soon !
Very nice interior. Limited dishes but quality is very good! We were not served quickly, due to starting new/young staff but got some free coffee at the end to compensate. You receive a buzzer that tells when you can go to pick up your food....Next to meat there's also a fishburger and fresh soup.More
