A nice restaurant with delicious food and very kind and helpful staff. The prices are really ok. They have a lovely and quiet garden behind. I really recommend it!

Living in Brussels since 10 years and now living 5 km away from this restaurant, we still go in this restaurant which is, after visiting dozens of restaurants in Brussels, the best price-quality we know in the town. The menu holds classic french dishes with...some south-asian subtle touches. The chef focus is still on serving the best products and we never were disappointed by his plates. Lovable service. We really recommand the fish plates.More
we went based on the recommendations here, group of about 10 people, pre-ordered menus - total disappointment. A dinner consisting of an appetizer, main and a dessert took approx. 3 hours. Don't know how many times we asked for bread - I suppose it was...about 30-40 mins after we arrived (the place was empty) before we got anything to munch on. Wine included with the menu - stay away !!! Stick with water. Mains were served cold - literally cold. Fish - made me literally sick ( I guess it could happen anywhere, nevertheless … ). Bottom line - never again.More
I see a lot of people have recommended this restaurant for a couple or small group. I would also like to recommend it for larger groups. Just book in advance with the restaurant and they will give you a selection of menu options to choose...from which can be communicated to the restaurant in advance. I've been there about three times with groups of 12-15 people. The food, ambience and service for meat eaters and vegetarians alike have never disappointed us yet.More
Undiscovered by so many, this is the jewel of St Josse and its inhabitants' best kept secret. We enjoyed marvellous service next to an open fire in this beautiful restaurant in an old maison de maître. It's not even overpriced. Even the toilets are stylish,...with lots of greenery as you descend. If you want a taste of traditional Brussels with a modern touch this is the gem you were always looking for. Perfect for a special occasion. I recommend the beef carpaccio.More
Delicious cuisine. The restaurant is very cosy and elegant, ideal for a couple. The menu is sophisticated and includes both fish and meat dishes. I had a simple yet fantastic tartare with a variation on fried potatoes. There is a good selection of wines. a...place to go, definitely!More
Nice interior, good food at a rather correct price but nothing special. Fish is the specialty. For dinner we were the only guests inside.
My family and I went to this restaurant to dine during our trip to Brussels. We were completely baffled and amazed by the quality of the marvelous food they serve. Everything we ordered was perfect and almost everything was made by the chef himself, from...the bread to the ice cream. We won't spend much time in Brussels(4 days) yet this restaurant is so good that we are going take another night to flavor their spectacular food.More
Great spot, great food, excellent service. Go here, you will not be disappointed!! Always really friendly and we have never been disappointed. Just go
We had lunch rather informal, no reservation, but very kindly welcomed and taken care of. Menu offers a large choice of dishes, first and main courses, but without too much originality. We had a steak and sirloin nicely prepared, well served and cooked according our...requests. French fries a bit heavy to my taste. Wine OK.More
I can't even begin to describe the disappointing lunch I had. It is quite impossible, in every part of the world, to combine fresh and genuine food with excessively low prices and availability of any kind of ingredients regardless the season. That's why it is...quite impossible to assume that a € 15.00 tartare de boeuf can be fresh, and that you can eat fresh broccoli in the summer. Salmon and tuna were all equally presized and had all the signs of defrosted meat. Fresh tuna should be red, the one we had was grey. Fresh salmon should be pink, firm and tasty, the one we had was falling apart and tasteless. All dishes have been served with an heavy sauce made of soy sauce and a tremendous amount of indefinite oil, even taboule was swimming in oil. Mashed potatoes served with tuna and salmon were precooked and tasteless, the whole dish was drowning in oil and soy sauce and that gave me gastric issues all day long. Having a summer terrace doesn't justify poor food quality, it's just unfair to trick people and serve them defrosted food (those tipe of food that you can find on great distribution). Furthermore, it's impossible to define this restaurant. It should be asiatic but it mixes asiatic with french and something else that no one can tell. Fortunately service was fine, we had a nice young waiter kind and professional. However, I hardly think I'll come back ever again.More
Very last minute we decided to opt for a dinner on a Friday evening in our neighborhood. The ambience is a typically Brussels' maison de maitre with a cosy fireplace and candlelight. We were given full attention and served in a very professional manner which...started with a complementary glass of cava. The menu is a very nice mix of european with a bit of asian fusion. We both enjoyed a delicious entree of scallops and followed with a perfectly cooked entrecôte and semi-seared tuna. We followed this with a fondant du chocolat that was the perfect end. We will go back and highly recommend this nice find in an unexpected corner of Brussels.More
A big sign in the street suggested the following lunch menu: a pumpkin soup as a starter and a wok of chicken and vegetables as main dish. The soup was so fat and greasy. the taste of the butter actually covered the taste of the...pumpkin. I actually believe this was one of those pre-made soups. I was very hungry and ate it anyway. My partner did not touch it. Finally they served the wok. I counted the few pieces of chicken in a sea of overcooked noodles (it could have been spaghetti, but I am not sure about it). The dish was not seasoned, the noodles were as greasy as hell. After having paid, I informed the waitress that I was very unhappy about the food. She said that nobody had complained about the lunch and that maybe I have a general problem with Asian food (!!!!). Never again in this restaurant. ps: a bottle of water San Pellegrino is sold at 7 EUR (I know it is probably the average price in the EU area for lunch but I cannot help but noticing that the price charged for water is outrageous).More
Went there some days ago for the Christmas lunch of my team and it was excellent: the different appetizers and dishes were all praised by all in our group, and my choice (Coquilles St Jacques for appetizer and sautéed vegetables for dish) was indeed very...well cooked, with strong flavours and good balance. The crème brulée for dessert was however too sugary and I could not eat it completely because of that, although the right flavours were there. Price not too exagerated for a Christmas lunch, although not small either. A good place for a business or a romantic lunch.More
Beautiful restaurant in a quiet street of Brussels: excellent food and service and big plus for sunny days: a very large backyard terrace. Very interesting lunch formula and even better dinner options with different course compositions: up to you to chose!
