Extremely average. We took two steaks with pepper sauce and one starter. The steak was dry, the sauce average, the french fries were not crispy. Ar 9.15 the party was over: we were the only guests left in the restaurant. Really not enjoyable.

This is a brasserie with traditional dishes, tasty, well served. The service is professional and pleasant. They have well chosen wines. They use quality products but he content of the plate is quite small. Thus, the value for money is average.

We had been recommended this restaurant but were very disappointed. The welcome by the Maitre d' was not friendly neither were the staff, except for 1 guy with a beard. The steak was blue although my friend had ordered a point and had it sent...back and returned with a grumpy face. I ordered the kidneys medium and even made a point to the waiter that I am English so don't like them bloody! The dish arrived with blood running into the sauce from the kidneys and they were very rare. Because the attitude of the waiter was unpleasant when we sent the steak back I decided to eat the kidneys. I wish I hadn't as I had to vomit immediately as I left the restaurant. Very expensive and unfriendly place and not great food. The positive aspect is that the ambience was good in the restaurant and it was very busy so hopefully this was just a 1 off experience.More

The main dishes were great, we had steak with potatoes and salad, and salmon in a citrus sauce with vegetables. Both were really well prepared and delicious. The desserts on the other hand were not only extremely expensive but also awful. We had a rum...baba that had nothing to do with the original, it was a sad chunk of dry muffin-like cake in a really sugary syrup with a hint of bad rum, and the Mokka gateaux was a dry sponge with a greasy coffee filling. Just skip the dessert.More

After reading the reviews of this restaurant here, I was expecting an above average place, both in terms of food and environment. But I must rate as only average, since I could not find anything in it that would distinguish this restaurant from so many...others offering the same kind of food for such a price. For a place serving main dishes above 20 Euros, I expect an attention to detail, good quality in all the dishes, and a nice ambiance where people can feel welcomed and comfortable. Unfortunately, I found the place: too loud, since the room is small and apparently usually crowded and there are no noise reduction systems like separations or wall fittings; the wait for the dishes was quite long, with more than half an hour for two dishes; the meat in the "brochette" was really hard and bloody, not "à point" as I had asked for; and the service was overall correct but too distant and frantic. So the price was too high for such an experience and I will certainly not come back in the next months.More

I was there on a diner with my father and they were super professional. We asked a wine that went good with meat and they gave us a very good wine and pretty cheap for the fine taste. If you have the time to get...to this place, don't miss out!More

Nice neighbourhood restaurant in the Woluwe St. Lambert district of Brussels. My wife and I shared a croquettes de crevettes entrée; one of the best and tastiest we've had in Brussels. Both the fish and the steak main courses were very good, together with a...nice bottle of Côtes du Rhône. Relatively good value, too. Service is efficient and friendly. Full on a Saturday evening, so best book ahead. It's also best to come on foot, as parking in this neighbourhood is nigh impossible. Finally, the main drawback of this brasserie-style restaurant is that it's L-O-U-D.More

I have not been to Brasero for a long time as we felt that the quality had gone down. I'm glad we came as the dinner was great in all respects. Great service, nice suggestion menu, tasty food nicely presented and excellent house wine. Excellent...outside terrace. Worthwhile!More

It must be about 20 years that we go, almost on a weekly basis, to Le Brasero. It is absolutely remarkable how stable the quality of the food and service are, the standard being rather high. It’s cool/classical, typical Belgian-open-to-other-things, generally full, and the sort...of place where you chill out on a Friday evening with a grilled meat and a bottle of Bordeaux. You may even meet there some friends, what else do you need? P.S.: we even privatised the place for our wedding lunch, and we’re still married - I told you, “..une valeur sûre..”More

I’ve been coming to this offbeat restaurant for years and never been disappointed. It is a hidden gem as stated by another client. Classical yet refined cuisine, specializing in grilled meats, it’s constantly revising its menu and has a good choice of daily suggestions including...fish and meat. On this evening we had grilled scallops that were perfectly cooked, accompanied by a stuffed vegetable pancake. For the main dish my wife’s grilled tenderloin was again perfectly cooked medium rare, with a gratin dauphinois that also was perfect. I went for my usual delicacy, ris de veau, which were cooked exactly as I like them; baked crispy on the outside yet soft in the middle. They have a good wine selection, mainly Bordeaux, in good years at a reasonable price. We had a Chateau La Pointe, Pomerol, 2011 that was superb. After all that, no desert for us! Highly recommended!!More

We visited it few times as it is pretty close to us. It looks clean and nice. Service was also surprisingly fast. Dessert took a bit longer, but the reason was we had one more comlpicated dish. I always opted for a beef and it...was always nicely rose. Friends were pretty happy also with their fish. It is classical place for a good meals (and not gourmet). It has also average pricing, keeping in mind good quality.More

This place has got both my partner and me flabbergasted. The service was wonderful, the food was excellent and it's so close by! Its location is a bit hidden as it's between houses, so you need to know of its existence. Make sure to make...a reservation as it can get quite packed. The tables are very close to each other, but they try to leave the table in the middle free when possible. The staff was very welcoming and the French speaking employees try to speak English. We had a 3 course meal: *starters: foie gras with toast and carpaccio. The duck foie gras was out of this world. It was of very good quality and the onion were like grilled onion in marmelade, absolutely wonderful! The carpaccion was very nice, nothing to comment on. *main meals: grilled steak and pork minon. Steak was grilled to perfection. Their grilling skills are very good, as you can easily grill a steak wrong. I ordered the pork which had a tender structure, the vegetable flan was original and yummy. *dessert: chocolate sphere with raspberries, which was nicely presented. Chocolate mousse was very well made, hidden raspberry coulis is a nice surprise and cracking up the dark chocolate sphere is a nice touch to end a wonderful meal. I had a delicious meal here, and I will be returning for sure. Will be recommending this place to anymore looking for a qualititative eating place in St-Lambert.More

From the moment I entered Le Brassero I knew it was going to be a good experience. I looked around at the plates on show and could instantly see the quality of this restaurant. When this happens, I let the waiter choose my meal and...I have to say I was not disappointed. I was delighted. A really good restaurant and I could not give it a higher recommendation.More
