Terrific restaurant.

This is a terrific restaurant. We missed a connection in Brussels and had to stay overnight in Brussels by surprise. We were starving and went to Confucius for lunch and it was so good, we went back for dinner. The great dishes were spicy vegetable noodle soup, sweet and sour pork and stir fried beef with black bean sauce. The last was sublime.

Worth the visit

This restaurant hidden in a street perpendicular to Avenue de la Toison d'Or looks old-fashioned but it is not: beautiful Tintin basin at the entrance, beautiful little red lacquered tables inside (better than on the site). Reasonable prices and very high quality for those who like spicy (optional). And friendly service without overdoing it. In short, a very nice address in this maquis where the best (here) sometimes rubs shoulders with the worst.

Heavenly noodle soup

I went after checking in to my hotel (next door) quite late in the evening. A few other customers. Good breadth on the menu, I went for my favourite, beef noodle soup. It was really excellent - the broth was superb, the bok choi was very flavoursome, the beef was so-so but the courgettes were sublime. The whole dining experience was exactly what I needed: peaceful, calm, nourishing. I'd love to go back in the daytime to try out the courtyard.

One of the last real Chinese restaurants in Brussels

Very good cuisine, clean, varied, economical and poetic. A dive into the ancient culture, know-how and refinement of the Middle Kingdom. A sure value!!! A varied, smiling, friendly but always correct staff will be happy to help you if you don't know what to choose.

The restaurant is a stone's throw from the chic Waterloo Avenue. Cozy interior without any form of kitch that unfortunately most Chinese restaurants have a patent on. Perfect service in Dutch. Everything spotless. Traditional European/Chinese cuisine that can be enjoyed by everyone. We walked out satisfied and satisfied.

Great service and food in Brussels

I was fortunate enough to come into the restaurant for dinner whilst in Brussels for business. The service was superb, and the food was just as good. I will definitely be back here again before I leave next week. Well worth a visit

Fantastic Chinese restaurant.

First time in Brussels and this restaurant was just outside our hotel. A quick review check confirmed this to be one we needed to try. The owners (who speak great English) managed to book us in last minute. It was rammed in there which was a good sign that this place is very popular. The food was absolutely fantastic and the staff very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend and would go back if we're in the area again. Fantastic restaurant. 5 star *****

A wonderful restaurant!

We came to the restaurant by chance. The food was amazing, there was a very varied menu. The staff were extremely nice and friendly, we had an overall fabulous meal.

Best Asian food

Probably the best Asian food I’ve had in Europe. The family which runs the restaurant is lovely, the service is impeccable and the prices are reasonable. Bon ambiance aussi !

Beautiful terrace for summer, excellent food

We spent the night out in Confucius restaurant, excellent choice for a hot summer night in the city. The food was delicious, the atmosphere very romantic in the terrace and the service very competent. Would recommend this place.

Great restaurant

I went there on a Monday evening with my family and even though it was armistry day(a national holiday) we booked a table for 4 and there was no wait at all. The service was very gentle and the food tasted very delicious. All the dishes that we ordered, including a wan tan soup, noodles with chicken, special rice, and duck with bamboo were all great! I honestly can't find a single bad thing about this restaurant.

Had take out two days in a row!

After travelling for 2 weeks in Europe, we were craving for Asian food and managed to find Le Confucius a short walk away from the hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed the soup, shrimp and calamari with vegetables as well as the spicy chilli peppers we asked for!
