We ordered the noodles with chicken and tomato sauce through Uber Eats. It should have been a pad thai, but you had to use a lot of imaginatio n. Honestly, this dish was made a day earlier. Superdry, supersimple, and definitely tasted like it was...reheated. Really a pity if you pay 14€ for a plate (excl. delivery). I will not go to or order from this place again, that’s for sure.More

They can cater for larger groups in an efficient and friendly service. Half-sunny terrace which is great during spring-summer. Tasty dishes.

I alway take the time to rate great dining experience, and easily forget when instead I get disappointed. This time it was too bad though. We had eaten once prior at Chez Saly, a couple of years ago, and food was fairly good. Yesterday we...ordered some food to be delivered home and it was a terrible. Noodles were tasting Chinese in flavours, rather than thai. They were totally over cooked, the rice too. The citronelle soup was simply disgusting, not even close it’s original taste. A great disappointment. Plus, and more importantly, the food was placed in plastic containers which by now is unacceptable, given the accessibility of biodegradable options, both for the health of their clients and our beloved planet.More

We recently received an extremely disappointing delivery order from Chez Saly (delivery via a third-party delivery service). Note, however, that our complaint is unrelated to the delivery service or order accuracy: the food itself was the problem. We’ve eaten at the restaurant once prior and...it was fairly good. This takeout order tasted like it came from a completely different kitchen. It seemed closer to Chinese than Thai. Maybe there are ingredient shortages due to the COVID pandemic, but if so perhaps that should be reflected in the menu. First, our Phad Kee Mao (aka “Drunken Noodles”) had no noodles! This is supposed to be a noodle dish but was actually just a stir fry that they gave us white rice with. Furthermore, the stir fry did not taste like phad kee mao or even its tamer cousin phad see ew. Nor did it have many of the common ingredients, such as basil leaves. In fact, the presence of bamboo chutes and mushrooms made it seem more like a Chinese stir fry than a Thai dish, except with a ton of red chilis thrown in for heat. Second, our Tom Yum Goong soup barely resembled a Thai broth. It was missing most of the primary aromatic ingredients: no lemongrass, no galangal (Thai ginger), no kaffir lime leaves. It was more like someone’s idea of a generic or multipurpose Asian broth. Third, our Chicken satay sauce was watery and not very flavorful. Rather than a rich, creamy sauce, it was so thin that it wouldn’t even coat the chicken when dipped. Furthermore, the chicken itself was fairly bland; perhaps even unseasoned. Fourth and finally, the main dishes were the smallest portion sizes we’ve encountered in Brussels. Especially at the price of €13+ each. At least the Kai Phad Med Mamuang wasn’t bad. Although the stir fry was eerily similar to that of the Phad Kee Mao, at least the chicken and cashews were tasty.More

The best about this restaurant is the service. You do not have to wait for your food. Also there is a very nice garden for eating outside. The food is nice and always fresh. Nice decor.

It's a great thai place, with decent prices and fresh, tasty food. Coconut curry is just like the ones I ate in Thailand.

This is a little restaurant off the avenue Louise/Luizalaan. The food is great. I’ve been three times! It’s Thai and really good value for money. There are lots of dishes under €10. The staff are really friendly. Book ahead for Friday and Saturday evenings though....It’s almost always packed. I’d recommend the coconut soup....More

We have now been at least half a dozen times - mostly for lunch which is currently Eur 12.00 per person. There are many choices within the starter and mains catagories and a choice of spicy, or not so. Fast prompt and effiicient service. Don't...be put off by the exterior which is a Brussels townhouse. You will receive a warm welcome and can either sit in the main room, complete with original fireplaces or out in the garden - which is a sun trap. The food is expertly prepared and their chicken sate is delicious. Well worth the visit.More

You cannot tell from the outside - but this nice little restaurant has a very nice garden out back. I have been there number of time when in this neighbourhood and they never let you down. Can be spicy, but they will tone it down...for you if needed. Really niece place where I am also happy to pay the modest bill.More

Well, I will put it very simply. Very nicely and well executed Thai food resulting in a very enjoyable flavour combination. Served by very pleasant and smiley staff. The cherry on the cake is the terrace they have at the back of the restaurant. This...makes for an enjoyable summer's evening. This is a restaurant I will definitely be returning to on future trips to Brussels. Good job and carry on with the good work Chez Saly.More
