It is hard to find what could possibly improve this little gem of a restaurant. Every dish we have tried, and we tried a few over our multiple visits, is delicious. Asian food as it is supposed to be with an explosion of flavours. The ratio value for money is also unbeatable and the service is very attentive and polite. A non pretentious restaurant with delicious food that has a lot going for it. An absolute must try for anyone visiting Brussels.

Dropped by after making a reservation for a quick lunch during the week. The restaurant was not busy and we were not asked for our online reservation.
We got one of the tables by the window, which are quite close together; Fortunately the place was not full otherwise it would be a bit cramped.
Their menu is extensive and includes both Thai and Vietnamese specialties, always with a photo for those who are not so familiar with this cuisine.
They also have a halal section for those who would like that.
Our choice was soup, Thai spring rolls (delicious!), Vietnamese nem (an even tastier type of spring rolls!) and 2 chicken with red curry and coconut: tasty portions that also look good.
The service is efficient and friendly and you are not immediately thrown out afterwards.
There is also a dessert menu of course, but we didn't try that anymore because we wanted to explore the Christmas market: the manager didn't insist on it either, which I can appreciate.
This restaurant is definitely recommended for those looking for a good Asian restaurant in Brussels city to have a nice meal and have a nice chat in the meantime: the location is quiet yet very central.

Great meal in a small restaurant in Brussels. We saw it in Trip Advisor rankings and decided to give it a try. We had an appetizer (Gyoza chicken) and two plates (a Pad Thai and a Duck plate), all were very tasty.

I had a PHO here. PHO is the most famous dish in Vietnamese restaurants. Usually you won't go wrong with PHO in Viet restaurants. I was very disappointed that it's not as good as it should be. The beef slices should be very thin so they are tender in hot broth from raw. But in this restaurant, the slices are thick so they are tough, seems pre-cooked. Also there were very limited varieties of herbs and vegetables. the broth was full of MSG and too sweet too. Another thing I didn't like was the glass bottle water came with opened, not sure if it was refilled because I ordered a bottle of water.

When I ordered the food I explained that I was a coeliac and that it was really important that the food was gluten-free. When it arrived it had a strong flavour of fish or oyster sauce in the dish, which was supposed to be vegetarian. As fish or oyster sauce are often thickened with wheat flour I didn’t feel safe continuing to eat the dish. I asked if I could see the ingredients on the sauce that was used to make the dish, and the waitress brought out the oil, but not the sauce. She said that that was too complicated, but she was too busy, and at that point she recommended that I don’t eat the dish because she couldn’t be sure that it was gluten-free. That was pretty frustrating after I had made it clear that it had to be gluten-free, to then be told that perhaps it wasn’t. later that evening I was ill from having eaten gluten. So I was really disappointed with this meal.

Not as good as two or three years ago. Cantonese duck kept only skin and fat bathed in an unrecognizable sauce. The Thai coconut milk soup must have seen the milk from afar... the welcome is smiling but it does not make a meal!

Orienta restaurants abound in Brussels and I wanted to try one that was different. We opted for this Vietnamese and we loved it. From pork Nim starters and chicken rolls and main course a Pad Thai beef and manises. The food, very fresh and tasty; the Pad Thai was some of the best we have tasted. An oasis amid so many frites and pseudo-Italians. Highly recommended, whether you already know Vietnamese cuisine, or want to introduce yourself.

Impressed - we were really impressed by the quality of the food and it's taste, truly homemade and really nice ingredients. The atmosphere is relaxed, nothing fancy but the food is absolutely wonderful. Highly recommended

Excellent Asian food in a casual setting. Had great service too. We had the spring rolls, dumplings and chicken wings to start and roast duck and pad thai for main. Found it to be incredibly well-priced, too. Everything was lovely, if I had been in Brussels longer I would have gone for a second visit.

This is our favorite restaurant in Brussels and almost don’t want to give the secret away! Tucked in city centre you may or may not ever notice it. The noodle dishes and appetizers are incredible. Cheap drinks too. We come back time and time again it’s always phenomenal.

We loved the Lotus Vert. It was good to take a break from moules et frites and enjoy excellent Vietnamese food. We both had mild curries - my husband with chicken and me with duck. Both were delicious. We also shared deep fried bananas. If we return to Brussels, we will definitely eat there again.

A gem of a place, very close to the Grand'Place, quiet, unassuming, simple ambiance! Food natural, wonderful, scrumptious,, great selection of vegetarian options. Simple, healthy cuisine. Quiet, humble couple. Served quietly and quickly. Inexpensive. Loved it and will be back!

Absolutely delicious with generous portions. I had the Eggplant with shrimp and chicken and the sauce was delicious. I was served very quickly and the staff were accommodating to a solo diner

I’m a pho addict and stopped by here to get some. It was similar but very different from back home.
