Great place in Brussels city centre, great food with really friendly stuff and reasonable prices. Strong recommendation from us.

We were 7 young travellers searching for a cheap restaurant and we found this place! A good place for students. FOOD: We tried the flemish stew with fries, it was very tasty and the flavour was very interesting. We also tried the vol-au-vent and it...was also good. PRICE: The dishes were not expensive according to the quality, about 15€ per person. We made a reservation with the fork (30% discount) so it was even cheaper. SERVICE/PLACE: The restaurant was big, there were a lot of people, traditional decoration. The service was very nice, a young and very kind waitress. Fast service.More
Do you want something authentic while in Brussels? You need to get the mussels in Brussels! They also have a variety of beers, Delerium Tremens for me. It was very busy, tight quarters but worth the time. It was a lucky find on the edge...of the tourist area.More
Everything was good Moules are good and served in a big pan People are nice and the bill was exactly what we expected
We ate here after reading the reviews and weren't disappointed. The food was well presented and tasty. We ate the traditional dishes, sausages and the chicken vol au vent. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Well worth a visit.
It wasn't the first time in this restaurant, as we have always liked its fair quality/quantity/price ratio. Unfortunately service has worsened dramatically: after seating, we were asked for our choice after more than half hour, no bread served but we had to ask twice (and...it arrived after a lot of time), we had to pick meat knives and napkins ourselves as it was taking ages to be listened by a waiter, and our table was placed litterally in front of the restroom door and smell wasn't nice (given that we had made a reservation, but they did not consider it in the end and the table was added on the spot...). Food was ok, as well as the price, but quality has also decreased compared to the recent past. A pity, as I am living in Brussels and it was a good restaurant downtown, not too much turisty and fairly good.More
Loved this place. Just off the centre and near the Marriott, it’s a great place for lunch. Extensive menu serving all the usual Belgian Brasserie fare. We all ordered the Carbonade (Beef Stew) and frites. They came in a large bowl which looked small but...was in fact a perfect size. It was delicious and all washed down with som. Tinbergen beer on tap. Greta decor, very helpful service from a nice young man who spoke perfect English.More
Had a great evening! The food was good and the service was good aswell. Did not have to wait a long time. I’d like to come again.
The restaurant food is average / you have many good options just around the corner which are far better than this We sought a particular place to sit - the waiter said it’s reserved - till next one and half hour that space was empty
A very charming place to enjoy the Belgian classic in the heart of Brussels. Fantastic welcome and pleasant to stay.
