For our three year anniversary together, we searched for a nice place to eat sushi. Through both TripAdvisor and Google we found this restaurant. The reviews were doubtful, but we wanted to try it out ourselves. This was the biggest mistake we could have made....It was absolutely horrible. We were unfriendly greeted by the waitresses, were placed at an unhygienic and sticky table, the cooks were screaming loudly in the kitchen and the overall atmosphere in the restaurant was miserable. We ordered a bottle of water, but we had no glasses at our table, so the waitress just took some off another (empty) table, not that hygienic, who knows how longs they have been standing there? Then we ordered some sushi, among which nigiri, maki and tempura shrimp. At first we received the tempura shrimps, which were not that fresh anymore, sticky and tough. Thereafter, we received sushi, but the wrong dishes, so we went to the waitress (who did not speak any English at all), and told what went wrong. She went up to the kitchen and after a couple of minutes we received the right sushi, but then it all went downhill. The smell of the fish was terrible, it smelled like a week old fish, the rice was not as sticky as it supposed to be, but rather grainy and tough. After the first bite, we both wanted to through up, this is definitely not what we are used to. So we complained about it, but the owner just did not want to listen to us and kept telling us that everything was freshly made. Eventually we agreed upon only paying for the water and we left. If you think about going to Ninja House, don’t do it. There are way better restaurants in Brussels.More
