We live in Brussels and used to come here for takeout during the lockdown, then enjoy the terrace during summer. Tonight the small dining room is full but everybody waits for appetizers and dishes while the kitchen works for endless takeouts.

Honestly among the best quality sushi in Brussels. Other dishes also very good! I recommend it for a calm evening with friends or family.
This small restaurant just off Place Chatelain is such a great find. It serves most of the dishes you would expect in a Japanese restaurant, plus some unexpected ones, like Dim Sum (delicious) and salad with Peking duck - absolutely scrumptious. The tempura is always...excellent, crispy and light. Service is friendly and prices reasonable. One of my favourite places in Brussels!More
Popped in for our last night in Chatelain. Fantastic quality sake - so much so we drank 2 jars. The portion size was good, full flavour and fresh fish and seaweed and miso were equally good. Definitely worth a visit.
But a very tasty ramen of duck. My friends had seafood noodles and I wanted it instead. They all said that it was delicious. Nice staff. For me if the staff are unfriendly I don’t go back and i base my reviews on their welcome...as well as food quality. I dropped a star for some reason that i know longer remember. But don’t let that put you off. I’d go back. Oh yes I’d liked to have more veggies!More
Ordered Sashimi and Rainbow roll. Salmon sashimi was good but tuna was dry and seemed old. Rainbow roll was the worst I had ever tried, way too much spicy sauce, definitely wasn't worth 13 euros.
What can I say? The food is bland, uninspired. It looks like something I could have cooked myself trying to do "japanese" cuisine. On a positive note: the terrace looks nice.
We ate at Rale-Bol few times in the past month! It is a great place! The food is amazing both the sushi and ramen! The restaurant is very nice and the personnel is always kind! One of my favourite place in Brussels!
We booked a table at Rale-Bol for 4 people. Easy process. This is a nice little restaurant with AMAZING food! It may not look like much from the outside, but it's not to be missed! Tasty Gyoza, Spicy Sushi! Great selection of non-alcoholic tea (Try...their melon! It's awesome). The portion was generous for the price. We definitely will come back!More
I had a great family time ! Very welcoming service ! Good sushis and gyozas for a reasonable price !
We've picked one of the menu's this place offers. Quality of the sushi was good, especially for the price (around 20 euros). Staff was friendly, spoke English, and the place is nice and cosy. I would definately return!
We have ordered take away sushi from Rale-Bol. It was sooo disappointing!!! The pieces of fish were so thin you could see through them! The portion for two was miserable and what's more today I don't feel well... The worst spend 50 EUR ever. To...avoid!!!More
...pretty much sums up the food. The staff was friendly and we did not need a reservation though (we were the first customers). Nevertheless, we had to wait a while through each course of our menus. We were expecting good Asian food, relying on the...good reviews on TripAdvisor. Definitely a bad choice! A prawn dumping soup as starter which tasted of cheap shrimps. The main dish arrived in a bento box and was not nearly as exciting as it sounded on the menu. Do not expect Asian food here, lest Japanese food. First of all, this food is made by Chinese. The sushi/sashimi tasted cheap, so did the wasabi. The chicken was terrible, both the quality of the meat and the marinade. The "salad" was more European than "Asian", consisting to my horror mostly of tomatoes and lettuce soaked in a sweet-vinegar-resembling dressing. The dumplings were equally poor in taste. We did not finish the disgusting dessert, too sweet, too processed. We ended up paying a whopping 60+ EUR - way too expensive for the cheap ingredients!!! As an Asian person having lived & travelled in many Asian countries, this was an expensive and disappointing food experience not to be repeated.More
Can't say anything bad about the staff, they were very friendly and nice. However the menu is very limited, food is not good either. Too expensive for what is served.
booking with MyTable was an easy and convenient way of reserving a table. The restaurant offers the freshest sushi in Brussels - tasty and reasonably priced! The staff are friendly and there is a little garden out back which is great to sit in when...the weather is good (that is where we sat last night)More
