A regular of ours. Always a pleasure to come and eat the great Madagascar Shrimps at this little diamond in the middle of our beautiful city.

We both live in Brussels and like to try new restaurants often and this was our first visit to this restaurant. Indeed very small inside but it is cozy and we can't comment enough on how friends the staff our. This is owned/run by a couple....he cooks and she takes care of the customers. Snacks were brought to the table... More

Great food from Madagascar. We had never tasted it before. Diverse menu. Exotic cocktails also available. Characterful restaurant: The waiter is very sympathetic and passionate. He serves and cooks all by himself (we visited on Tuesday night), and it was fast! Prices are fair. The restaurant and its chairs are a bit cramped. Worth a visit if you're in for... More

This was my first experience with the cuisine of Madagascar. I went for dinner with a friend in this small restaurant in the heart of Brussels. When we entered, we were welcomed by the owner with a very warm smile and we felt from the beginning as if we had been invited at her home. The way she presents and... More

Pretty small but cosy restaurant in a nice area (Dansaert-St Catherine) with some of the coolest bars in Brussels at only a few steps away. Didn't know anything about cuisine from Madagascar, but quite surprised. Were with a group of 10 and everyone liked it very much. The gambas and fishdishes are delicious. If you're a vegetarian, don't expect too... More

The restaurant is small (about 29 seats), and quite popular, walk-ins were turned away, making reservations more or less essential. The service was good, even though there were only 2 staff for 12 diners. As for the food itself, it will really be down to individual taste. We ordered 2 starters, the mini-brochettes which were very good, and the roulade/sambos... More

We had never been to a restaurant serving Malagasy food. It was a rainy evening and we were greeted by the owner, from that moment on it was the warmth and the sunshine from Madagascar! She patiently explained the menu ,she didn't just explained it she was 'living' it . We were surrounded by exotic aromas from the kitchen, delicate,... More

I had been eyeing this place for a while and finally last week I tried it out. It has the kindest personell and the food is delicious. We tried the Romazava and the Ravitoto and both were great and the portions big. Before that we got a banana soup on the house. I didn't have any wine, so I can't... More

We've been going there regularly since the beginning and it's always a pleasure : extremely friendly service and nice fresh exotic dishes. Prices maybe a bit above average but you get dishes you can't find anywhere else in Brussels. As stated by many other reviewers, the "rhum arrrangé" is a reason to visit in itself.
