The first restaurant we stumbled upon the moment we felt hungry. The chef greeted us with a big smile. The service was fast. We had fish soup and minestrone, which were both delicious. Then we shared a pizza, which was also delicious. They even brought the pizza on two plates. Everything had a touch of Italy. Will come back for... More

The Italian food on the menu was quite good and I really enjoyed the pasta sauce. Unfortunately everything else on the menu was just average. The hotel was a little tired in its decor but the staff were kind and attentive and the bathrooms were clean. I'd go back for pasta and pizza as it was a pleasant meal but... More

A quaint little restaurant off the grand place of Brussels, the steak was tender. Great quality for €10.

we see it and we love it non overpriced, good steak and potatoes and also the starters. The espresso was tasty and perfect. And also the friendly familiar persons behind the bar.

I've been to this place many times since the 1980's when I was in my teens, went there often with my mum and her colleagues. Time has come to a standstill in this ristorante - the owner & most of the staff are still the same since I first went there. Elaborate menu, not everything is strictly Italian though. Good... More

This restaurant deserves to survive. The terrible blast and the anti car policy in downtown Brussels desert the city. There are so many rip-offs, why does La Capannina have not more success? It is old fashioned? Yes! It looks as if the time stood still. But the qulity is there! Even the Wifi is fast. The food is delicious and... More

We go there regularly. Never were disappointed. They cook traditional Italian food for very reasonable prices. No fuzz, no thrills but big portions. Never tried the Pizza. The service is the Italian family way. The general public is very mixed. From Opera singer, via European civil servant to stranded families, which were given the address.

We had been wandering around the street's around Grand Place when we found this superb friendly restaurant. We had only just ate in the wonderful OLD WILD WEST RESTAURANT and when we asked would a coffee be ok the staff had no problem with this. Our coffee arrived in no time and was absolutely delicious and we just chilled out... More

Visited with a friend who recommended it. My main was a delectable dish of sliced duck breast in a pepper sauce. This was followed by tartufo - excellent.House wine is splendid and service very attentive. Thoroughly recommended.

It's an almost hidden Italian restaurant, just in the city center. The portions are generous and the price is right. We'd tried pizza, pasta and ossobuco and everything was good. Staff was friendly, the restaurant is a bit old but well maintained.
