It used to be a very nice place, authentic, but bot anymore. If you want to have a cold waffle, bad service, no plates etc. Go to Dandoy, the new fast food in Brussels, but without the price that goes with it. If the manager...read this, it is a good idea to increase profit, but you need to maintain the quality.More

Maison Dandoy is spread all over the city with small and bigger restaurants. I went in because I couldn't resist the decor. The wall paper was so colourful and tropical in contrast with the centenary furniture. I staid because of the beauty and presentation of...the plates. Impeccable! I would say that it is a must to see at least in the city.More

The waffle was light and fluffy, very superior quality but the chocolate tasted like dark chocolate. I didn't expect this but maybe I forgot to specify milk chocolate. The strawberries were caramelised, which I hated as I like them non-caramelised. I do highly recommend this...place though, I think you just need to specify the chocolate type and how you want the waffle madeMore

We stopped for dessert at lunchtime. Had to queue but it was worth it. Lovely hospitality. Great waffles. And a local beer. All served by very friendly staff.

The best waffles in Brussels. Best flavor, best quality-price ratio. The texture of the waffles is superb, the ingredients fresh and hot waffles made to order. I loved the vanilla whipped cream. Very very close to the Grand Place, perfect to have it to go...and eat it there. They give it to you in a paper plate with napkins. The waffle with hot chocolate sauce was particularly good. The macerated strawberries were very nice as well.More

My fiancé and I had two amazing lierge waffles. Would highly recommend. We will be going back before we leave Brussels. The woman making them was very friendly too.

You have to queue up inside when you arrive but the queue is placed in a very awkward way that people coming in to buy cookies at the counter have to squeeze through the queue to get in. We ordered two waffles with different toppings...but received them both with the same toppings. The waffles themselves tasted very good but the overall experience was a little disappointing.More

This is where I learned that there are 2 kinds of waffles: "brussels" (rectangular) & the "liege" (the circular one we all know). The "brussels" was airy and light while the "liege" was... just like any other waffle I've tasted. My wife & i added...strawberries (on the brussels) & nutella (on the liege). The overall experience was "okay". I didn't quite get why there'd be a line for these. Probably a tourist trap.More

The 5 rating is just for the waffles not for the whole experience The waffles and choices you have are really good and definitively worth to try it. Also you can enjoy the cookies while you are standing in line. However: In general they can...manage it better. 1- They have a team room which is good but unfortunately you have to wait in line downstairs with no clue how long may takes 2- The line inside for waffles is not managed well and sometimes not clear how people are in line outside of the restaurant. They could maybe put a bar outside restaurant to guide people how to stand in the line. 3- Some people they would like to buy cookies which the waffles line was blocking them, so they have to push a bit to get to cookies then the waffles line was disturbed.More
