A regular venue for the students and lecturers to gather during a training course, they are used to handling big parties and do it very well. With about 18 of us sitting down, in no time they had taken the orders for the mains (choice...of three) and started to serve sharing platters of meats, cheeses, vegetables, etc. Main course was served efficiently and we all enjoyed the food, the company and the atmosphere.More

Atmosphere is good - it’s a busy restaurant. Food was also good - tasty and reasonably priced. However, service could be better and brought my overall assessment down. A bit more attention to customers would help a lot! Notwithstanding this, I will come back for...the food and atmosphere.More

Living round the corner, I have visited this restaurant many times. For a while, it was my favourite Italian in Brussels - nice menu, tasty food, great ambience. Lately, my experiences have been very disappointing - pasta so al dente it must only have been...shown the water, drinks that take 20 minutes to come, stone cold food. I can’t stand complaining in a restaurant (I’m too British for that!) but last time I had to send it back - it was so cold as though the pasta/sauce had been sat out for hours. Didn’t mention the pasta being under cooked (beyond al dente) but as my boyfriend commented, “it’s more effort to chew it than it’s worth”. And zero apology from staff. Such a shame, I had hoped my first bad experience was a one-off but I guess this was my last visit.More

I like this place! The food is very good (I love pasta with crema di parmigiano). The staff is nice and pays attention to clients. They serve a bruschetta to everyone as starter (nice gesture!). Also you can take a bottle of wine and if...you can’t drink all you pay for what you consumed (fair enough!). The restaurant is located in place jourdan, very easy to reach it by public transport and by car. The only issue is that the place is quite small, so when it is crowded it’s quite noisy (mostly on the first floor). But I definitely like to go and have dinner here! Very recommended!More

Nice ambience inside and staff attended to us quickly. Just off the Place Jourdan square. Portions were very generous and pasta was tasty - just a bit over-salted and al dente for our taste though. Good prices, cheaper than the Italian on the main square

What a nice italian restaurant! Very friendly staff and delicious food. They serve bruschetta as a starter for everyone, nice gesture. We had scaloppina and pasta with truffels - tasted just like in Rome.

Delicious pasta, we tried the gnochi, pasta with ragu and pasta with truffles - all were great! Portion sizes are very good and the price also (there are many italian/pasta places in Brussels thay serve smaller portions but charge more!)

Nice restaurant, tasty food and good value for money. The music (piano + violin) was a nice plus to create a pleasant atmosphere. The service is quite efficient even if the staff is not completely friendly.

I was part of a large group eating on the top floor, arrived to find the starter was already on the table, by the time we got around to eating, the salad had gone very limp, risotto very nice and the fish dish was very...good. Overhaul a very good experienceMore

As soon as we arrived they put us on a table close to the door, since it was quite s cold night, we asked for another table, if it was possible, since we didnt want to sit close to the door. The waitress answered that...that table was also close to the chauffage, not caring for the fact that we didn’t want to sit close to the door. Food was quite good, the chocolate fondant was a bit disappointing because we were expecting something like a moelleux and it was not the case. But ok, we would come back again, just would like to be able to choose the place to sit - there was plenty available!More

I came with a colleague for a latish lunch. There was a good selection of daily special pasta dishes on the board. Service was efficient and prompt although it was relatively quiet. The portions were good and prices reasonable - comparable to London - I...had a gnocchi dish and this avoided being too heavy with a nicely flavoured sauce.More

We were very much looking forward to a nice night out, and I made a reservation here. Service was awful, and I felt sorry that I even took my boyfriend here and was really embarrassed that I was excited to eat here, because I saw...good reviews before booking. We were waiting in the entrance so that a host or waiter would talk to us so we could be seated. No one even noticed us, and then a party of four walked in, and they were acknowledged and seated first. First strange and rude thing. Had to hang our own coats (a proper restaurant should do that for you), and the coat rack looked messy as well. We sat down, little attention paid to us. We were waiting for a menu for ten minutes, no one even looked at us when we tried to get their attention. Finally the waitress came back, we asked for a menu. She very curtly said that the menus are only on the wall (way behind us, difficult to even see from where we were, my boyfriend's back was to that wall, so he couldn't see it at all). Then I asked for a drink menu, and she dryly said there was not one. No explanation of that when we sat down, so we were left to sit there for ten minutes, clueless. Not welcoming whatsoever. They seemed overwhelmed and understaffed. Not the way you want to be treated when going out for a special night. Do not recommend. Although there might not be much variety in that area so this restaurant succeeds, I would advise going elsewhere. (We then went to have ramen at Takumi across the square, and we were warmly welcomed and treated with care.)More

The place is very loud and all the tables are cramped in every corner. Menu and wine list on the wall. Made it very hard for everyone at the table to know what was available. Top price for pasta dishes with lack of presentation. Poor...waitressing skills. All the menu is in italian and waiters look annoyed when they have to explain/translate. Won't recommend. Very basic restaurant. Can't pay by bank card just Visa or cash. Won't come back.More

Back from our summer break, another training course and another brilliant meal. Over 20 of us descended on a Monday evening and the staff were great. The selection of starters arrived quickly and were very good. The choice of mains was restricted but we are...on a fixed price menu option. Desserts are OK. When you consider we had three courses with wine for 30 euro you cannot complain - quite the opposite.More

We end up here because we want a risotto restaurant, we wasn’t near to it , but it values the walk! Nice staff and service. I think it’s a truly jewel restaurant that you must have to try. Make a reservation because after it’s hard...to find a table. Beautiful design of the place, very particular way that they don’t have a menu and it’s over a board on the wall. Nice portions of food and plus about the amuse bouche. Definitely we are coming back to try more of their menu dishes.More
