Even though we have been working in Brussels for several years and one of us also works in this region of Brussels, the restaurant was unknown to us. Because the restaurant we originally wanted to go to was full, we looked for an alternative, preferably Italian. Ended up here via Google Maps and this was a real discovery.
Super friendly reception. The pizza oven had broken down that evening, so pizzas could not be served. This was immediately communicated to us in a friendly manner upon arrival and you could tell that they really minded it. No problem for us, there are plenty of other tasty things on the menu.
We received a jar of olives and a basket of bread together with our drinks.
Service very correct and also very friendly here. The pastas were very tasty and more than enough portions (a bit too much for the ladies, even).
It also didn't bother us at all that we continued to chat after dinner and continued drinking our drinks, which is not the case everywhere in this region.
The decor is also super cozy. We sat upstairs and it got very warm there.
This was a really positive discovery for us and we will definitely come back here!

On arrival, the restaurant was bustling with customers however we were seated in around 10 minutes. We didn’t order a starter so complimentary bread and olives were brought to the table - they were delicious. We ordered cocktails (a Hugo spritz and a limoncello spritz) they were divine. Our mains came to the table within 5 minutes of ordering and they were bloody lovely. The staff were very friendly, particular our waiter, didn’t get his name but he was young man wearing glasses with brown hair. Restaurant was well priced. After our meal, me and my partner were seated at the bar and given a shot of limoncello. Overall, a perfect restaurant for our date night and the highlight of our trip :)

Located just off a main shopping street in central Brussels we were suprised to receive a call prior to our meal saying they were only accepting cash or cheque. Maybe it was us though finding a cash machine in Brussels centre proved to be a challenge. Our meal was okay with a prawn starter and tuna pasta being the best dishes whilst my seafood pasta was quite dry and lacked a sauce. Service was okay if it felt they were going through the motions - a lack of warmth. The chianti red was fine. The damage €100 cash for 2. Okay I guess though average.

On December 30th, we come to eat at this establishment. The setting is beautiful. Welcome on arrival. To our surprise no pizza. They had no pasta. For a Monday lunch I find it still serious. The bread was good and fresh.
The Spritz looked like water.
The meat arrives cold but is of good quality. After investigation, as if by chance, there is pizza that reappears as if by miracle. Obviously pizza bought at the neighbor d after the Italian waiter.

Great Italian food, friendly staff and great quality. You have the option to order 1/2 bottle of wine. We ordered a spagetthi with pesto and Burrata and a mushroom and truffle risotto, the risotto was tastier. I recommend!

RIGHT in the center is this very good Italian . The operation is like a well-oiled machine : very smooth, friendly .
The food is also fine. We took the canneloni and the spaghetti al pepe (pepper and pecorino cheese): to drain the fingers!

Why go abroad and look for Italian cuisine?
My answer is that sometimes if you find a welcoming place like this pizzeria, with really kind staff who welcome you with great friendliness, smiles and laughter together, with a vast choice of pizzas and good ones at that... then it's just a pleasure have a chat in Italian, drink a good beer and eat well!

We had a great evening at l’Angolo. Everything was up to expectations and above. The food, the service and the atmosphere were perfect. We went there with a group of fiends, the waiters were very friendly and accommodating. Good value for money and tasty menu. Will come back!

We ate at A L’Angolo and it was delicious and a short walking distance from Grand Palace. This place has a variety of pasta’s so I had the Lasagna and it was terrific even though the sauce was more creamy and kinda orange in color but was so good. This restaurant has a great atmosphere and the service was fabulous.

When you go abroad, whether you want it or not, the call of home is always felt. However, you are not always lucky enough to stumble upon a place that knows the culture of Italian cuisine. This is definitely not the case. The place is very welcoming, my friends and I were served after a short time. The dishes were excellent, in particular the penne all'arrabbiata that I ordered (I recommend them). Prices are appropriate for the city you are in, don't expect Italian figures. In conclusion I would like to recommend this place to you, it will not disappoint your expectations.

This Italian restaurant is located right in the heart of Brussels.
They do offer an English version in the menu and the staff speaks English good enough to help you choose your dish.
The service is very fast and the quality of the food is good and very tasty/

This delicious restaurant is situated a few minutes walk off of the Grand Palace & it's a hidden gem in the heart of Brussels. The menu is plentiful, full of pizzas and pastas with something for everyone. The food was delicious, the service was attentive and the restaurant itself was cosy. We sat upstairs and the place was full of locals, so we were confident that we were going to have a yummy lunch. And we did.

Beautiful fresh tasty food, a wide variety of pastas, pizzas and other dishes of an average price for the area. It's such a busy little place, there's usually a wait for tables in the evening. We were happy to wait. The staff work so hard and are friendly and fluent in many languages. The food was so nice we went back there three times. The upstairs seating area is a tiny bit cramped but we were happy to sit up there when there were no tables available downstairs.
We tried the pizzas (Diavolo, Della Casa, Hawaii), the lasagne, the cannelloni with meat, the spinach and ricotta cannelloni and the Al Vongole. Everything was fresh and delicious (the Al Vongole made me taste garlic for the entire next day!).
We would definitely recommend a visit to this vibrant little restaurant.

We were there to meet a family member who I had never met before and asked our waiter if he could call and speak to her in French to tell her where we were located and he was very gracious about helping out. The staff arranged to have a few tables together for our meal together and they were very attentive to our every need. The food was excellent and our time spent together was priceless. The staff helped to make our day extra special. Thank you!
