Delicious food. Really nice meal. Shellfish timbale was absolutely perfect. I would definitely come back here.

What a fabulous meal and experience! I had lobster bisque for starter which was fabulous! I make a good crab bisque at home so can spot a good bisque when I have one. We then both had fillet steak (described as tenderloin streak) and sauce...bearnaise for mains. Brilliantly executed. Our waiter, Francois, was brilliant- super attentive and helpful. Best eating experience in Brussels on our four day trip. Will definitely return!More
Great food and Brilliant staff who were so helpful with all our needs. The food presentation and ambience are great and also placed in a prominent area of Grand Palace. If you are in Brussels please visit this place . Need to book in advance....Must try is mussels.More
Best meal in my trip to Belgium! I would give 6 stars if I could. I had high expectations after looking at TripAdvisor reviews, and this restaurant did not disappoint! Moules Frites were amazing - deep flavor in the broth, crispy veggies, and the frites...were fried in beef tallow for extra richness. Scottish smoked salmon was a fantastic starter, served with toast, herbs, and onions. Complementary olives were a nice touch, as was the delicious butter served with fresh bread. My father got a traditional Belgian waterzooi chicken stew, a bit bland but seemed very authentic. More like a chowder than a soup. House white wine was fantastic, I was very pleased because carafe wine can be a gamble. Great location at the edge of the St. Hubert Galleries Mall. Very little outdoor seating, but the inside was elegant. A bit cramped, so it may be tough for handicapped access. Fantastic service, food was timed perfectly at a relaxing pace. Highly recommended, but make a reservation (even for Mondays). One of the best meals I have had in Europe, period.More
Easily one of the best restaurants we ate at while in Brussels, especially in the central area we stayed in. Every thing was perfect: fries, croquettes, fish soup, smoked salmon, etc.
The restaurant was full when we were there. The service was decently quick, but they forgot things and several times we had to remind them. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the price. Most of it was tasteless, the carpaccio rubbery. The bread...is inexcusably some bake-up variant. Simple things are inexplicably bad, such as a weird tasting bearnaise. The mussels were OK at best, many unopened, the taste bland. The desserts were of a really low quality, the restaurant fails simple things again. The crème brûlée was cold and rubbery, yet tasted only burnt sugar. Avoid unless you have no other choiceMore
Mussels were delicious. Sirloin was well seasoned and cooked. Asparagus in the appetizer was juicy and yummy. Dessert was also very nice. Great service from the lady with glasses. She was so lovely. Anyway, I would recommend to make a reservation in advance.
Judging from the reviews, I was expecting much better. I ordered the Marmiton Menu, with the argentinian stake. The stake was nothing special, it contained too much nerve for my taste and it was not really tender. About the service, it was too slow and...kind of sloppy. If you don't make an effort to call the waiters to order something, you will wait forever!More
Lovely restaurant! Our waiter was very friendly, and service was excellent. We had one of the 'set menus', which we found was really good value for money, and included local dishes which we wanted to try. The food was great. I would definitely recommend!
This restaurant seems to be quite popular, and some photos of celebrities are hung on the wall of the store the way to the bathroom. A local dish in Brussels is recommended, fresh mussels, and the chicken in the main course is also well...done. The waiters in this restaurant are friendly, it is a restaurant worth trying. It is recommended to call ahead to reserve a spot before going there.More
Very good service. Food was good, nothing fantastic, Had the croquettes, not extremely tasty. Then had the carbonnade. Was good, but again nothing grand.. and should have been brought much warmer. Expected a lot more from this place.
Excellent food and service. the two course menu is outstanding value..We were lucky to get as it is usually booked out well in advance. Great traditional Belgian dishes. Would have gone again if we could have got a booking.
This lovely place is in the Galleries Royales. It is beautifully but simply decorated. We had a wonderful meal here starting with a shared baked mussels which were absolutely delicious. Then my husband had the North Sea sole with potatoes and vegetables. I had the...beef carbonnade or beef stew with a delicious sauce and frites and a small salad- all so tasty. Best meal in Brussels!More
We had a wonderful evening at this lovely restaurant. Service was excellent -- friendly, helpful, attentive but not obtrusive. The food was beautifully plated and perfectly cooked. The John Dory was outstanding!
Had a good dinner meal here (you definitely need reservations). The service was friendly and helpful. The mussels were fresh; escargot was tasty. A beef dish was a bit dry and a salad was uninspired (a common theme in Brussels). Bread and desserts were good....A nicer place among a sea of very touristy restaurants (although this also had a good number of tourists).More
