My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Alexandre - the food was excellent, fresh, not too fussy, focused on seafood and fresh ingredients. Excellent wine pairings, including some surprises (Pacific Northwest Reisling and Spanish dessert wine in particular). And superb friendly service. An unhurried and very pleasant evening.

The restaurant is run by two ladies. Anca is in charge of the dining room and also acting as a sommelier. The cuisine is excellent. The restaurant proposes menus with or without the appropriate wines. A place to visit when in Brussels

At the end I decided to have dinner at Alexandre, well it was perfect! The service, the food, the wine's list, everything is managed at the highest level! This place worths any euro you are going to pay for it (and you really do). The food is prepared and presented in a way that shows the research and the creativity... More

Petite menu includes 3-courses dinner at cost of €75. If you have big appetite, you can try the grand menu at €130 with 5-courses. Snail restaurant with 7-9 tables accommodating not more than 20 guests at a time. Great to try if like Michelin stars

A comfortable interior with nice artwork, was a welcoming and calming setting for a very appetizing (large) tasting menu that unfolded with elegant dishes to stimulate the palate -ranging from very fine carpaccio, daringly delicious cilantro aspic, mushrooms well treated and nice quail. We were also quite impressed by the (basic) wine pairing - particularly the three (Portuguese, South African... More

Very good michelin starred restaurant but we are a bit dissapointed:| We have tried small tasting menu and it was really delicious, small but enough for late dinner. However we ate next to other couple that were served the same courses but the serving by waitress was not equal. The have got side sauce for the same courses. So we... More

A restaurant which had built its reputation on a contender to a TV reality show (Alexandre Dyonisos) who left the place (for personal reasons ?). I was probably there at the wrong time but nothing impressive, expensive and no parking possibilities. As Michelin says "Merits a large detour", but in this case.. to avoid it !

A rather small restaurant in the centre of Brussels, decorated in a modern and elegant style. My third visit and on this occasion my celebratory invitation for a group of eight friends, who all took the same tasting menu. Modern creative cuisine all with an explosion of flavours. All eight declared "a rare gastronomic pleasure". Efficient professional service by the... More

it is indeed a very nice restaurant but...not worth the price. There is no choice of dishes, so you take that risk to begin with. Also I really miss not be able to choose from a menu: that is one of the fun parts of going to a restaurant. Both degustations were very similar forms of cream cheese. The (excellent)... More

Nice bakery/pastry. Had the best and biggest éclair in my life! Very cosy and good sorts. It's a Belgian franchise, so I can at least recommend the one I've been at Brusselstraat, Leuven, Belgium. Great. Also, easy access to physically impaired people, is definitely a plus.
