Really lovely, quirky restaurant. Specials board is incredible in terms of both choice and price, and waiting staff are quick to help with any translations or recommendations. Had a lovely, authentic Belgian meal with a couple of beers for next to no money. Could not recommend enough!

Had a lovely little dinner here before my pub crawl. A tour guide suggested it and a Belgian friend brought me, so I feel pretty confident that locals and tourists mix here. I had a beef dish with a tomato and mushroom sauce, excellent! The beer wasn't overcooked and it was a delight with the right amount of tenderness and... More

excellent quality - price , classical belgian fares like mum's.....very popular , usually there is a long Q !! so be prepared to wait !! a pondering question : this 'no plastic policy' will it change , when the belgian government impose the 'black box ' in every restaurant......and subsequently the prices ??

Taken to this place by locals, otherwise wouldn’t have found it. A huge, somewhat chaotic-looking place, with menu and specials written on a blackboard. Food was superb and very moderately priced. Classic Belgian fare. This is this place’s main attraction – a hearty, delicious meal on a budget and that’s why this place is always packed.

Superb, authentic food with a great drink selection. But the don't take "plastic money" as their menu (really a blackboard on the wall) proclaims. Meh. That's a problem in this century.

This Belgian restaurant was highly recommended by friends as well as TripAdvisor reviews we read. We ordered the typical Belgian sausages with excellent (homemade) mashed potatoes and gravy. Also a wonderful spinach mozarella salad with sweet cherry tomatoes and a pesto vinagreta. ..delicious. Despite the wait and the full house, the service was great. We also recommend the creme brullee... More

If you are in Brussels and want to taste their real local food, this is the place you should dine-in. They don't have an English menu, but their friendly staff can help you pick the right food for you.

Following a recommendation from our hotel, we found this gem on a quiet street just off the tourist centre of Brussels. Busy enough to inspire confidence but a sprinkling of spare tables throughout, so no problem if you don't make a reservation. No frills but great food and generous portions. The barman was happy to allow us to sample 3... More

No wonder the place is so popular. Simple but pleasant ambiance, great food, efficient service. I have never left disappointed. Go early or be ready to queue - which, by the way, is totally worth it.

The restaurant has a simple decoration but really comfortable, the staff were really friendly and explain all the menu and the food was incredible and really tasteful. I highly recommend.
