Lunch at 15.90! Good selection. Add 5 euro for lobster. Welcoming hostess. Eat at terrass. Selection of seafood. A bit expensive for wine but sells wine by the glass

Located in an area with dozens of good local, not touristic seafood restaurants, this was a good find. Sat outside, which on a chilly night in July was helped by the external heaters. Very nice menu, good service and great food. Made me glad to be back in Europe!

The concierge of the Hilton Hotel highly recommended this restaurant and whilst we enjoyed the food and wine, we have to say that the experience with the lady server/owner/manager had put a sour taste to an otherwise enjoyable evening. Firstly we did not feel welcomed when we arrived 20mins earlier than our reservation on a Saturday night. Then she sent... More

It is sometimes difficult to choose between the many seafood restaurants of that fish market district of Brussels. We were not the only ones who had chosen L'Huitriere that Tuesday lunchtime: it was full, whereas its neighbors were almost empty! The choice of its very appealing menus was probably one of the reasons. Another one must have been the quality... More

One of the waitresses/management clearly did not like her job and made it her mission to annoy not only ourselves but many of the other tables she served near us. When one of our dishes were delivered incorrectly she not only wasn't apologetic but even rolled her eyes in disgust! Food was the only redeeming point, but would definitely not... More

A predictably good fish meal in pleasant surroundings with charming service. We took advantage of a 30% discount on the a la carter which added to the enjoyment

Come here for high quality seafood prepared nicely in a traditional way. It offers a great variety of set and a la carte menus. The lunch menu for a fish soup, a half lobster and a dessert is just EUR28, you will get EUR3 off if you don't go for lobster but other types of dishes. If you want a... More

Well! Avoid being offered tourist oriented food, try this. Standard set menu of 3-courses lunch at the price of €25 looks quite affordable. The location is near the fish market but not at the heart of the tourist loaded old town near the Grand place.

It's my third review of this restaurant and this time I was a bit disappointed. The seafood platter Plateeau Royal (49 eur) is somewhat smaller (which was confirmed to us by the waitress when we asked) and the shellfish was not as fresh. Any restaurant can have a bad day bit I am worried about the reduced portions. Still a... More

Thank you for your review, All feedback to help us improve is positive feedback. I am sorry that you felt that you did not experience the same dining experience from before. We invested in a big seafood bench outside the restaurant and has been experimenting every month with new and different seafood platters, for example before we did not have... More

Three guys for dinner, enjoyed a super plateau of fresh seafood. Everything was excellent, the lobster, the crab, the oysters, the variety of shells. + fresh bread and (homemade?) aioli and mayo. Nice wine list. Excellent service from a multi-language staff. A bit pricy, but, hey, we're smack in the middle of Brussels.
