I had to find a restaurant for a business lunch in the neighbourhood which offered decent quality and offered sufficient privacy for a business discussion. When entering this restaurant you almost feel as if you walk back into the 1960’s when it comes to the...More

High variety of sea food with great service! Definitely a very good value for money. It is an old building which gives it a charm. I would recommend to go for the menus.

Lady of the house addresses people in their own language (French, DUTCH, English) and keeps control of everything during the service. Very fast service, excellent food. Even though on a Sunday evening, not pushed to have a coffee and leave the place.

Rude service -- insisted we sit in a crammed space when the place was mostly empty. Charged for a "on the house" dessert. Credit machine mysteriously was not working despite the fact that we used a European bank card.

Short walk from Grand Palace area. We ate in their covered outside section. Lovely location unfortunately smoking was allowed which made is less enjoyable. The Mussels were delicious. The food and wine were pricey. Our server was pretentious and inattentive. We had a nice evening...More

Since 1934 the restaurant is well knowned for its seafood and wine menu. L' Huitriere has changed ownership since 04/2014 and the new owner is remodelling refurnishing the restaurant.
