I visited with a group of colleagues and we tried the bibi gourmand selections from the à la carte menu. This was great value at 37 Euros. The food was delicious, simply and attractively presented with good flavours. The bottle of Pays d'Oc we tried...was amazing value and glass of house red I had also good. The wine list had a good selection of French and Australasian wines. Service was efficient without being intrusive. Overall a really enjoyable experience.More

Do you know restaurants where you remember exactly what you have eaten and crave to go back ? Restaurant JB is that kind of place. I had the sweetbread with morels, vegetables and cream sauce, accompanied by potatoes. The sweatbread was cooked to perfection and...was of a quality I’ve never encountered before. The sauce was deep, refined and light at the same time. The morels were absolutely deicious. The whole dish was a celebration of fine cooking and exquisite taste. The owner later told us that the sweetbread is one of their signature dishes and that taking it of the menu would cause severe disdain from local clients. So not much chance you won't find it on the menu when you visit. The angus beef with black pepersauce that my son ate, has the same revered status amongst locals, so we were told. Wines and desserts were also very good. So, if in Brussels, you like sweatbread and are looking for an exceptional dining experience, look no futher. But do make sure your creditcard works well.More

JB stands for quality and hospitality; the service is excellent and the price/quality ratio is extremely good. On the menu you will find classic, local and somewhat more modern dishes. In my opinion, the quality of traditional dishes stands or falls with an excellent preparation:...thymus can be delicious but also tasteless and tough. The chef of JB prepares the dish very skillfully, the finest thymus I have been able to taste so far. If you want to taste how classic, traditional dishes should taste: visit JB. From lobster to fois gras, the preparation is excellent. Many thanks for the beautiful dishes and the hospitality,More

The service and the dishes we had (lobster soup, chateaubriand, sole fish and the desert Dame Blanche) were all excellent. Lovely family with a great history running the restaurant.

Recommendation of the concierge at the Sofitel across the road. A very small place. But let not the size fool you. Was there earlier in June 2018- dinner, around 2100 hours. Place was full. Only the owners- husband and wife serve. The food was excellent....Skipped the starters and for mains had the turbot fillet. Little expensive at 38 euros but worth it. Wine selection by the glass excellent. Had 2 different French reds - both excellent. One from Burgundy and the other Bordeaux. For dessert it was a creme brulé - white chocolate. Loved it. Next time in Brussels, I am having dinner here.for sure.More

This is my favourite restaurant in Brussels. I have been here a number of times over a period of several years. Family run - and they always deliver with first class dishes.

Food ok - good sole, bread and salad. But the chips were too small and a bit soggy. Decor is nondescript modern and the tables are a bit too close together. But good service and well done management for no 'background music'.
