Near the beautiful Sainte Gudule Cathedral, here is a nice restaurant with a superb beautiful setting, very original and tasteful, a little flea market-a little artistic, and absolutely delicious food, served by a boy full of humor. This pretty restaurant with a beautiful terrace is available on three levels. We were at the top for a birthday and this room is very quiet, however the ground floor is very lively, so there is something for everyone. We really loved this authentic and refined restaurant, discovered by The Fork, which surprised us to apply 20% off the bill. Note that was already very reasonable without the discount. I came to this restaurant with colleagues. Lunch for twelve people organized at the last minute. One of the few restaurants close to work where I could book online for a fairly large group, without much waiting and hassle. The service was very fast, we managed to have a tasty and healthy lunch in the little time available that we had. Arrived around 12.10, by 12.45 we had finished lunch. All colleagues happy. I went for dinner with friends, and it was a pleasant experience. The seating is a little cramped for my comfort, we were seated on the second level. Food was good, service was good. Both the udon with chicken and shrimp and the lemon grass beef were delicious, the service was very nice, waiters were kind, however, it's very unfortunate but the raw beef might not have been cooled, stored well as it gave me diarrhoea a few hours later. It is not to put down the restaurant as I said food tasted delicious, service was great but staff should be more careful with raw food, maybe only serve it when it's very fresh.

The reservation made was not kept. The food served was not really hot. A rather tastless Vietnamese PHO. The requested ginger tea was no ginger tea. Some pieces were added with the skin on and more black tea with it had a very horrible cheap tasting tea. The supposed fusion kitchen is not working.
Bar tender and other personnel was rather agressive when we complained about the reservation not taking into account. A very sad experience. The customer is certainly not considered valuable.

Absolutely head and shoulders above every other restaurant we visited not just in Brussels, but across our travels through Belgium.
The food is freshly prepared from quality ingredients by time served chefs who love their work.
Everyone here is just so friendly and passionate about food and drink.
This standard of service and culinary skill is rare at any price.
Chez Gudule is a bargain, coming in way below even some pizza chains.
You will never regret eating and drinking here and you won't ever forget you did.
