I knew this place had a reputation for being a good restaurant but I never expected the mussles to be THAT good! The most delicious mussles and fries I have ever had. Definitely recommend. I had the moules mariniere and it was fantastic. They were very quick serving too and would always clear away the mussles shells at regular intervals... More

It is a charming little restaurant with an impressive variety of mussels sauces which are cooked to perfection. The menus are in the form of comic books. Comic strips adorn the walls. Its not in the city centre, its off the beaten track but if you are a mussels person, it is definitely worth the detour! English spoken could be... More

We had two huge servings of delicious mussels with French fries in a cosy atmosphere. It is a small restaurant, typical belgian specialised in preparing mussels in 100 different manners. Incredible. Considering the limited number of people the place can accommodate you have to book in advance.

Last week, I made a reservation for 3 people at this restaurant. The reservation was made at a so-called “Happy Hour” - 18:30 when the restaurant suggests a discount if you leave your table before a certain hour. Personally, I did not pick this hour for the discount reason, I just preferred this time. So in the middle of our... More

Hello terribly sorry for this misunderstanding but if you choose for the happy hour reservation you have to be sure to leave the table at 20.20, that is the deal to get the 25% discount on the food. It is clear on the website or the person you get on the phone explain it clearly to you. You are not... More

We had a great dining experience here before, so I took a dozen colleagues, most of them in Brussels for the first time. Food and wine were excellent, but they wouldn't let 2 people share one portion, which was not only un-understanable, but also took their appetite and enthusiasm for dessert.

It is such a pity, they seem to be the best restaurant in Brussels serving up to 80 differently prepared moules dishes. But the people working there check-mating the food by their unbelievable unfriendly, unprofessional, and guest-neglecting service. E.g.: several times we went there as a group of 6 or more, the waiters forced us to order a portion of... More

My boyfriend and I enjoyed mussels and fries here. The service was generally good during the meal, but when we misplaced our umbrellas and called the restaurant the next day to see if they had them, they didn't bother to look and told us to come by instead if we wanted them. So we went back, but they then did... More

We are only in Brussels for one night as a stopover on our way home. We had to have the famous mussels Belgium is known for, so we tried this place not far from our hotel. Seeing all the choices was amazing. This is really their specialty along with steak and of course fries. The pot it comes in is... More

A very nice dinner at Le Zinneke. It's a bit off the beaten track, but I'd say it's worth the detour to try the moules frites. The service is good, the wine was well paired with our food and we had a lovely night.

Second visit to Le Zinneke. This time with my partner to celebrate an anniversary. The staff are welcoming and friendly, the atmosphere within the restaurant is relaxed but the service is quick and efficient. The food is of excellent quality and always served piping hot. My partner had one of the many moules dishes and I had chicken & mushroom... More
