Good food, good, relatively quick, service, very good location on a quiet side street near the Grand Place with outdoor seating. Dinner for two, including a beer and two desserts, was a reasonable 88 euros before tip.
Great restaurant with lovely food. Service was incredibly friendly and the portions were very generous too. There is plenty of choice if you’re looking for a traditional Belgian dish, but lots of other items too.
Classic restaurant where you'll find lot's of authentic Belgian dishes on the menu. I went here for a dinner with colleagues on a weekday evening. We were greeted warmly by what I guess must by the owner of the restaurant.
The interior has the same...classic feel as the menu. We started our meal with lobster soup. The soup was fine, but to be honest, a bit bland to my taste. As a main course, I went for the mussels, one of the national dishes of Belgium. The mussels were fine, albeit a little small.
During the meal the owner informed regularly if everything was to our liking and he filled up our wine glasses. We were charmed by his friendly attitude.
The best course was, of course, the dessert: chocolate mousse to die for so good!
Not the best restaurant in Brussels, but friendly atmosphere and ok food.More
Excellent traditional Belgian restaurant in the middle of the old city of Brussels on block from the Grande Place. The service was outstanding, felt like home. The menu has all the traditional belgian specialties. We tried the excellent “huitres”, the “homard” (lobster) and of course...the “moules”. All was excellent! I hghly recommend this restaurant.More
I ordered the seafood platter which I thought was going to be lots of warm fish but it turned out to be lots of shellfish on a bed of ice. Oysters, mussels and shellfish, I wasn’t sure what was cooked and what raw. I wouldn’t...have that again but otherwise the staff were all very niceMore
Food is delicious. Service is good. Atmosphere is nice and relaxing. We particularly like the seafood spaghetti. We can easily come here twice during the same trip. Check out online reservation in tripadvisor to get 30% off during certain hour. (In our case it’s 1...pm on Sunday)More
Ate here on a busy Saturday night but got 50% off the menu from booking through TripAdvisor. Excellent restaurant. Had beef carpaccio for starters, followed by the mussels which were lovely. Husband had the seafood spaghetti which he enjoyed and was an incredibly generous portion....Service was always with a smile, with jokes and friendliness and staff speak fluent English. We really felt looked after. Fully recommended.More
