Service was extremely slow. Took more that 30 minutes to get a soft drink. Restaurant was half full, and it all felt a little chaotic.

The food is amazing, brunch and dinner is fantastic, they have a variety of different foods and drinks. In general, it is worth going amazing choice. Definitely 10/10.
Top place in Brussels, amazing food, great service and very comfortable and pleasant environment. The clientele is very nice as well.
Came here for a team lunch. Unfortunately they were out of quite a few of their dishes - even the signature hamburger on a waffle. Really a disappointment. It also irks me that, as with most places in Belgium, you have to order bottled water....Added 30 euro to our bill. The Caesar salad I had was meh at best - the romaine they used was clearly bottom of the barrel ( and they even included the “nub” from the last of the bunch. Bleh! ) And who puts corn in a Caesar salad anyway. It was one of the only restaurants open at this dead time in August. Won’t be coming back.More
We wandered into this place and were encouraged by a very pleasant waitress. We shared tempura prawns with a spicy mayo for starters served hot and spicy. To follow my wife had a chicken caesar salad. Chicken was good but too much of the dish...was lettuce. I had a veal chop - done to perfection and melted in the mouth, however, the vegetables were somewhat undercooked for my taste. For drinks we had Belgian draught beer followed by white wine - both very acceptable.More
Nice location and a special menu. The waffle burger and risotto with speculoos were great. French fries were way too salty and not home made. Dessert was the best!
Great location but the staff kinda forgot about me and my friends. We were not eating so we were placed in the lounge area and had to reminded them to take our orders and to then give another order. However, will go back when the...weather is better (May/June) to sit outside and the overall coziness of the place!More
Was there twice - once for drinks and once for early dinner. Both were excellent. My drink was beer which was cold and not expensive. Dinner was Flemish Stew, which I recommend that came with excellent slaw and french fries. Taste was wonderful, service was...good, price was right.More
We came across The Beat by chance and we were not disappointed. The price point for the quality was excellent. The staff are friendly and very welcoming. They specialise in waffle burgers, really tasty. They also have a nice selection of beers and a novel...way for those who like hot chocolate.More

We took a friend out to lunch on Monday - a quiet day, so no problem finding a table in Beat. The decor is very on point - a good point. This is quite a trendy place in a good central location, with some interesting...takes on Belgian cuisine. I saw the size of the steak tartare on another table and decided to downsize with having the steak tartare on toast. This came on two slices of lightly-toasted bread, but there was still a generous portion of meat. Added to the side-salad, this was probably not requiring the side of fries that I ordered and that ultimately defeated me. My companions ordered the two variations of waffle burgers. Again, these are interesting takes on the traditional burger and come with salad and fries. The service was faultless, the food was all that we needed (and more) - what more does one need? I would definitely come here again.More
We are very happy to read that your experience with us went as you wished and even better! We look forward to welcoming you again
We tried the waffles and friend chicken burger, it was simply amazing. Great atmosphere and friendly staff too. Highly recommended
Thank you so much !
We went in on Friday for late lunch and took both Croque Deluxe. It was tasty bread piled up with Brugge Vieux cheese, pastrami, Belgian mustard, coleslaw in between. Service was fast and friendly.
We glad you enjoyed your lunch in our restaurant ! We hope to see you again
I took a Belgian blue beef filet mignon, the meet was absolutely perfectly prepared. Adding to that, the Belgian fries, my lunch tasted very good. The restaurant is really not far from Brussels Central station and so, it has also the advantage of being well...placed for travellers.More
Thank you for your comment ! We glad you appreciated. See you soon !
We were a large group of people at 14 people. Considering this, I think the restaurant delivered well. We got our food almost st the same time and everything was well prepared. Service could perhaps been slightly better but it was a busy evening
Thank you for taking the time to write your comment and for taking into account all the factors!
I thought both the Restaurant and its menu looked nice. Food was not convincing at all, though, but if you are looking for a hip place to Drink a Beer - this is probably a good idea.
Thank you for your honesty. Could you tell us what did not please you in the food?
