Despite at least 5 staff working priority was on delivery food not customers in the restaurant. The Currys are like dishwater .. the red curry was a light yellow colour. Ordered with sticky rice which for some reason comes as an extra .. normal rice...was still on the plate and arrived 10 minutes after the curry was presented. No one seems to care. Avoid.More

This is a small place in a street full of restaurants. The menu looked good and the place is pleasant enough. Food was good, and the Thai beers were good but for the price not quite special enough to get 5 stars. The staff were...great and the service was very good.More

It looks better than the original Yaki but just in appearance. For starters I asked the waiter what the dofference was between two soups. He looked lost. Then i wanted to order a soup with no meat and they told me tjos specific soup had...to contain meat. They said, that it would be possible to serve with no meat but they would forget in the kitchen, so I ended up with meat in my soup. Then we had to wait for our food for approximately one hour 'because they have lots of deliverance food', ao here the priority are not the clients sitting in the restaurant but sitting at home. The food was disappointong as well. In the entry (rolls) as well as in the main dish (noodle soup) a rancid taste was dominating. We wanted to try a desert to at least end up with a good taste, but as they were taking that long to even look at us, we went to pay and left. The owners should reconsider a few things.More

Visited Yaki on a lazy Sunday evening. They had no problem to accommodate a party for two. Service is quick, despite not being overly friendly. I'm still not quite sure why we ignored all the signs that were telling us that this place was rather...average (sample dishes on display, 15 page menu, etc.), I guess we were just tired of looking and were just looking for some tasty mouthful. The starters were greasy thai rolls, straight from the frier, without draining them at all. To follow up, a Panang curry with yellow julienne peppers. Never seen that one before. We also had a Pad Thai, which was quite average. The meat was tough, was lacking a good squeeze of lime and there was no tamarind background flavour whatsoever, only soya. Not sure whether we would visit Yaki again.More

I’m not sure why this restaurant has so few reviews on Trip Advisor because it’s a little gem and deserves more. We stumbled across it by chance as the restaurant we were looking for seemed to have disappeared into thin air - but that’s another...story. It’s situated just off the Grand Place and you’re always slightly nervous because so many city centre restaurants are rubbish, churning out food for the tourists but we struck lucky. Yaki had a good selection of Thai/Vietnamese meals and we plumped for the veggie pad thai and veggie fried rice. Both were delicious. Straight from the wok, not at all greasy with a decent amount of spiciness and generous portions into the bargain. A better far eastern meal than I can recall getting in the UK for a long time. Don’t miss out would be my advice.More
