La Pizza e Bella is a Neapolitan-style pizzeria just off Grand Sablon in Brussels. They are open from 12-2.30pm (lunch) and 6-10.30pm (dinner) and have a fairly small indoor seating area along with a handful of outdoor tables. You can do take-away and delivery in...the area as well. We recently ordered take-away from La Pizza e Bella as both times we passed by they were full up and we couldn't get a table. Service was very friendly and helpful with making orders, seems there is a 10% discount for take-away orders as well which was nice of them. Our Stagioni pizza with tomato, mushrooms, artichoke, salami, ham topped with mozzarella was a quite good. Even better was the 5 Formaggi topped with mozzarela, bufala, scorzanera, fior di panna and pecorino cheeses. This was a delightful combination and very flavourful serving. Both pizzas had nice chewy crust with a hint of char. Overall, very good job by the team at La Pizza e Bella. Will gladly return for another pizza meal here during future visits to Brussels.More

I booked a table for my daughter's birthday, so she went to the restaurant with her friends, but they were sent away only after an hour they had sat. If I had known in advance, I would have chosen another restaurant!!!!!! So maybe you have...to share this information with customers, sometimes people need to organize something better than just eating and running away with the food still in their throat. Just a simple piece of advice to improve your service.More

we are in bxl for a week and we came under suggestion of a friend who has told us that this is the best pizzeria in the city. Now we arrive and they bring us to a nice private table om their second room, we...had autentic italian people serving us, our waiter Valeio was suoer fun and nice, he offer us amaretto at the end and always check on us. The pizza was super! compliment to the chef and servers, you really live up to our expetation! great job!More

The pizza is ok itself, I took a simple marinara and it’s still in my stomach after 4 hours but ok…the taste is good. Unfortunately the whole place is not in line with Italian hospitality…the waitresses are trying to make it nice, but I believe...the issue or challenge lays within the pizza guys. I did ask for a small correction in my pizza and I did hear the loudly guy asking why I wanted something like this…nice treatment for a person of your same country. Indeed he refused. The place is ok, unfortunately the main door keeps on opening to get people in/out hence it gets cold.More

Very busy place - for a very good reason: Excellent Italian pizza both to eat in and take away. Very kind service, even though they were busy.

We had read great reviews about this pizzeria, but they performed very badly. It said that they close at 10:30 pm, we crossed the whole city to go there, but, arriving at 10 pm, they said it was closed, while we saw the oven on...and working. We only had to order 4 pizzas and they could be made in few minutes, if you are a professional, but they didn't want to. Furthermore, they are not Italians. This is not the way to manage a restaurant, time table must be respected. Otherwise, write that closing is at 10 pm.More

I had read that this pizzeria had been ranked #1 in Belgium and #5 in Europe (though I really don’t know who made the ranking and on what basis), so I thought it would be a great place to take a friend who was on...holiday in Brussels. And we were both quite disappointed. First, because the place has expanded, but to a nearby space separate from the main one, lacking a kitchen. So the new space felt cold and detached, and the waiters kept coming back and forth through the side walk, bringing food from the main restaurant, creating a lot of confusion. The weather was sunny that day, but how do they do it when it’s pouring? Second, the pizza arrived relatively cold; not cold, but it was devoid of this “fresh out of the oven” feeling, and of course, we didn’t get to see the oven because we were seated in the adjacent space. We also had a mishap with the starters. And although the waiter responded immediately and courteously to this mishap, by offering to replace the dish or remove it from the bill, the arrival of the main course (our pizza) was quite late and we got it only after we inquired about it and saw other tables receiving theirs before us. The pizza was good, but not exceptional and I have definitely had other ones. So, all in all, honestly, I don’t see what all the buzz is about…They should have stayed small, as the expansion to a soul-less space nearby was definitely a bad idea…More

My wife and walked in on a Saturday with no reservation and were seated right away. We decided to share a pie and they made it half and half. Some places won't and treat you like you're asking for something hard. They had a great...Duvel on hand and a decent dry red wine for my wife (and she's picky!) Listen y'all, they saw our table had a mild wobble and the waitress crawled under it and fixed it immediately. I don't know that I've ever seen that anywhere before. Ever. The pizza came and it was DELICIOUS. Not the best we've ever had but damn sure in the top 5. I highly recommend this place if you're in the downtown area and have a hankerin for a pie.More

Too expensive pizza for quality of pizza and service offered. We had 2 pizzas one of them was Pomodorosa for €20 and I was extremely disappointed with the quality. Felt like eating at an overpriced takeaway.

When “la pizza è bella” opened this was one of the best Neapolitan pizza places in Brussels and one of my favourite. I write this review because the last few times I ate there I was somehow disappointed and sad about several points which made...me decide not to go anymore. 1) the pizza is not cooked enough: it’s burnt a bit on the underside but overall the Neapolitan crust which is indeed thicker but usually light and bread-like, is raw and chewy and results in a heavy pizza. Also the mushrooms were still raw. 2) I was surprised about the oil. Everywhere in Italy (but also Brussels) if one asks for oil (hot or regular) one is given a bottle of oil, while at “la pizza è bella” they serve single portion bags like maionese which gives it a very fast food feel 3) I asked for a Coke Zero and without any comment from the waiter I received a Pepsi. I told the waiter and he said “it’s the same “ I can deal with 2 and 3 though I think it’s not very professional, sustainable or authentic but for me personally a raw pizza is not ok for a place where the prices start at 15€ (except 2 or 3).More
