We walked in(two people) and the waiter just looked at us dumbfounded. Got angry when we asked for a table for two. There was only one table occupied by two people. Turns out they were expecting a party of 36 people. They managed to seat...us and then didn't bring us the menu until after the big party had arrived, sat down and been served their food. We ordered the seekh kebabs and chicken tikka for starters. Not too bad. The main course was a lamb vindaloo and chicken madras. Both were of average quality lacking in proper indian flavours.More

One thing we appreciate about Brussels is the variety of food one can find! I'm happy this restaurant exists in proximity to the areas we frequent however not more not less! The prices are fair - for main dish and side of naan/rice around 14...EUR. The restaurant does not look appealing from the outside, at all, however do go in and give it a try if you are in the mood for some Indian food! (February 2018)More

I heard the microwave ping several times whilst waiting for my meal. Not a good sign and I wasn't disappointed. I ordered chicken vindaloo. Vindaloo is supposed to be a hot and sour curry (Vin - wine, normally wine vinegar and loo, a derivative of...the Hindi for garlic). It was dreadful. Chicken in a bowel of sauce closely resembling cat poo. Didn't taste much better. The pilau rice was basmatti rice with food colouring - another sign of culinary incompetence. Quite happy to provide cooking lessons to the owner. Cooking fresh tasty food is almost as fast as opening a bottle of sauce and putting it in the microwave. The place clearly has no cooking ability, it's expensive and not very pleasant. Avoid the place, save some money and get yourself some cat food to save time. That said, I ate it and told him it was very nice - because that's what English people do to save embarrassing one another. If anybody rates this place as good, they have never had decent Indian foodMore

I had very good dinner there with my Indian friends. They were always talking about the place so I decided to follow them this time. Probably the most delicious Indian food I had so far

Even though we had a great time, the food at this place was disappointing. It was funny, but even with 9 guests in the whole restaurant they was cooking the wrong foods. It apparently was since waiter and chef speak different languages.More

This is one of my favourite places to eat in the European Quarter - you know what you will get, and you know it will be very tasty and served promptly. It is often surprisingly quiet, for a place so close to the European Parliament...and Place Luxembourg, but even when it is busy, the service is cheerful and efficient. My personal favourite dish is the jal frezi (chicken or lamb) but I have never brought anyone here who was disappointed - one friend bravely tried the vindaloo, and survived (and even said she liked it). Strongly recommended; as long as you like Indian food, it’s the best option this side of Rond Point Schumann.More

Simply amazing! I wish it was enough but tripadvisor wants details. We were 5. We took a bunch of starters to share. All delicious, a pity there is no not fried starter though. We had chicken tandoori, mix grill, salmon curry, Dal, vindaloo lamb, and...palak paneer. We waited 20minutes between starters and main dishes. Everything was tasty especially the tandoori. Service was fantastic as we reordered beers and rice several time without waiting more than a minute. We really do not understand how people can have so different opinions about this perfectly decent restaurant. Wish you luck!More

Very friendly and helpful staff who made our party of seven welcome for a late dinner. Great choice of dishes, all served freshly prepared and in portions enough to satisfy without being excessive

This is not the first time here, but several months passed since the last time and wanted to see what changed - based on some recent bad (not mine) recensions. I had pieces of chicken without bones (chicken tikka) cooked as the tandoori chicken masala,...basmati rice and garlic nans. They were good and tasty. Service was sufficiently quick - despite the restaurant was full. Possibly not the best indian restaurant in the world - but still good.More

This was probably the worst restaurant I have ever been to. It was literally a joke!!!! The food was not fresh and not properly cooked. We had booked a table in advance since we were a group of 10 but still we had to wait...for almost 2 hours after ordering the food. I ordered Samosa for starters which I am sure was frozen samosa, the one which we get in the super market. The main course came after 2 hours that too after complaining. we were hoping at least it be worth the wait but is was extremely disappointing. The rice was not cooked properly and cold, the curry was all watery which made me sick the next morning. I had ordered chapati which came as microwaved wheat wraps which we get in the supermarket. My friends were served burnt naan which the waiter agreed to change after complaining and the funny part was that he returned 3-4 times with quarter of naan every time saying, "The chef keeps burning them and he had to cut the good piece to serve". It was definitely not an Indian restaurant even though it says Indian restaurant in the name. Stay away!!! Not recommended at all.More
