Had lunch during a business trip in this lovely restaurant. Menu was filled with different pasta options as were the day's specials on the wall menu. I had very good basic penne with ragu and some chilies and it was as good as any pasta can be. The portion was also so large that it easily took me through the... More

The first thing you notice with this restaurant is the friendly welcome. The owners spoke excellent English and were incredibly friendly and helpful. Then the setting, just off Grand Place, and then the interior of the restaurant, which is listed. It is a small cosy restaurant with a communal table in the middle. The food is fantastic, freshly cooked and... More

Nice family style Italian restaurant. Everything (food, decor) was simple, nice, good and enjoyable. It was a welcomed change from the many fancy, touristy and/or overpriced restaurants near the Grand Place. Red and white house wines were good, the spaghetti with seafood was tasty as were the carbonara and arabiatta. No pretense good food at reasonable prices. Staff and service... More

If you want authentic Italian food look no further! It is right off the Grand Place. It does have a small downstairs and upstairs so maybe best to make a reservation. We had 5 people but were lucky that they had enough room for us. The pasta was absolutely homemade! I think they even picked the tomatoes for the tomato sauce... More

This is a small and homely Italian restaurant right next to the Grand Place. The food tastes like mum made it and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant is spread over two floors and the ground floor has a community bench style seating which is great for groups-it could do with a little cleaning though. The first floor has... More

Most of us are suspicious of restaurants on the well worn tourist paths. This Traditional Italian sits in the heart of Brussels, in a narrow street off the Grand Place - normally to be avoided. but hey, it was a very pleasant surprise. The menu is not extensive, but the food is authentic Italian - my penne arabbiate were great... More

Though siituated in the hearth of the city, the grand place, this little restaurant is a pleasant Italian surprise. Great (fresh) pasta, Cosy upstairs dinning room. Ideal for business lunch or romantic dinner. downstairs, the big table can host a larger group. Recommended

I visited the restaurant after a recommendation from a friend. Why he ever recommended it to me or how other reviews can be so positive is a mystery to me. The restaurant is well located at a bow shot away from the Grand Place. The restaurant looks very nice upon entering, with old tiles, shelves with cook books and a... More

We stumbled on this restaurant by accident on our last night in Brussels. I was determined to avoid the tourist trap type places the line most of the main streets in the centre of Brussels, and we walked for around an hour looking for something to catch our eye, ironically finding this little italian place down a small side street!... A little, hole-in-the-wall Italian restaurant, with upstairs dining room, just off the Grand Place, run by three brothers. For a change-of-pace from Belgium cuisine, food was out of this world. Bistro-like atmosphere, with friendly atmosphere. The second time we had dinner there, we part of jovial conversation with a Canadian Air pilot and an Italian couple, seated at other tables....
