The place is very beautiful. In a basement, the team managed to create a mysterious atmosphere. The food is excellent as well as the service.

The place is worth being seen, with interesting set up along the gigantic wine barrels. But food is really average, and for 120 EUR for a couple (including one bottle of good wine), you have much better place in Brussels. Poêlée de riz de veau was a joke. Main dish was far from being light. Cheese was still frozen on... More

The food is good and the price is okay. Flexible: two persons of our group were vegetarians and they got an alternative. A very special place, but the acoustics are loud when it's fully booked. There's a very convenient parking (quite some manoeuvring, though). It's easy to make reservations online, but if you're called for final arrangements, you need to... More

First time I went to "Les Foudres" was for a special occasion. I won't lie, the price is high but the quality also was. We ordered the seasonal menu (autumn) and tried duck and deer specialties. The staff wasn't specially friendly but the place is nicely decorated. You can see the barrels of wine and there is a certain theme... More

7 of us had a delightful lunch under a tree in the garden of Les Foudres today Thursday 1 September 2016. It must be around 10 years since I was last there. And it is still so very good; attentive and smiling staff. We all had the 18 euro 2-course lunch with a choice of 3 dishes offered for each... More

We were a large group celebrating a friend's birthday and were very disappointing with this place. First they showed no flexibility at all for drinks, trying to sell us the alcohol packages for all the table full price without letting us share the drinks while half of us had to drive and only wanted a glass or two. Second the... More

Nice lunch menu, service and summer garden. Pick one of the starters and a main course, all nice suggestions worth the try.

This restaurant is underground with big barrels. You find it very relaxing when you are in it. The food is prepared nicely in a traditional way with the restaurant's interpretation. The selection of wine is quite wide. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. This area is extremely difficult to find a parking space but the restaurant has a... More

First the positive, the waiter was correct and friendly. The food was disappointing. Paid 22 euro for 6 small gambas with in the middle some very oily yellow rice, A rip off I would say. The place itself is a long tunnel with tables for two people left and right. Not to my taste. There are bright spots above the... More

Once again a new discovery during a holiday trip through Belgium. Friends of mine took me for dinner and it turned out to be a great evening. The large glass wall seperates the dining room from the old wine barrels and coming through the kitchen was nice to see. The food was light and well prepared. Definately will pass through... More
