Reading others reviews about the service, the places were the waiters have good vibes, in brussels, are counted with the fingers, this one is not the exception, anyway, the food in this restaurant is nothing special and overpriced but good, the terrace is nice for have a drink, the sun comes directly :)

Nice atmosphere, small but still not too crowded with tables, the staff is friendly, food is very good. It’s a trattoria, meaning table are covered with plastic, the menu is not sophisticated but well assorted and most importantly, the food is tasty. I enjoyed my bruschette, I could get them without cheese, and pasta aglio e olio, colleagues took pasta with scampi and rucola and they were also very satisfied. We loved that few ingredients were in the dish, no need to guess! One minor note, there was a smell in the room, like humidity, probably related to the building age, I would suggest to fix that, as it makes the full experience less enjoyable. We will definitely go back

This is THE Italian I go to as a real local from Brussels. Very well positioned in coeur of the Chatelain with perfect terrasse surrounded by other charming terrasses. The food is perfecto, enough choice, real value for money. The service is excellent, friendly and polite. This restaurant is “une petite perle”. They have THE best Apérol Spritz in town, the cocktail is really perfectly made with enough real Aperol Spritz! As the real lovers love it. Go there as a local, tourist, with family and friends.

We came at 12 and were welcomed by the owner.
Aperitif served promptly. I took tagliatelle scampi and my wife took Osso-Bucco. The food was excellent and the Osso-Bucco delicious! Meat tender and tasty. Pasta were cooked to perfection.
We took Tiramisu and Panacotta red fruits and 2 coffee. Grappa was offered.
A very good lunch and good ambiance. I recommend highly this place. Service efficient and attentive.

Impeccable welcome, excellent food, the pasta is really good and cooked to perfection. After a first visit where I met Francesco, the boss, I returned there with my Italian friends this afternoon to retest the menu and the verdict was unanimous: absolutely worth doing again. All for a moderate addition for the neighborhood (between €25 and €30/person)

The owner was rude, told us to move our car, and gossiped to his staff. The waiter was grumpy and unkind. The food was mediocre: the salades were very boring, not many vegetarian options for pasta and NO vegan options at all.

Generally speaking I always say no to an Italian Restaurant that I don’t know. I will be stupid to say no to this one. It’s exactly what I like. The atmosphere is the one of a romaine trattoria, the food is simple and generous and even the house wine reflect the place, not expensive and good.

Service is OK, they arranged us a table quickly. We ordered pasta al ragu which was not the typical al ragu but nice with sausage and rosemary. Nice flavours even though not what i was expecting. Two others ordered carbonara and what they received was not worthy the name! The worst carbonara EVER seen and tasted.
The red wine feom the house is nice.

We have left Gusto sure of one thing: we are never coming back again. Food is OK but service is beyond crap. The owner or manager was terribly arrogant, rude and behaved like a troll.

Today I had experienced the worst service in my life! I could not even imagen that people normal people can talk to each other like that ...not to say I have never though a waitress would allow her self to talk to anyone like that.
The waitress who can be easily identified - a women with long black hair started to scream on me because i moved with my partner from the table on the sun to the one in a shade. We mentioned to her that my friend is pregnant and that is why we can not stay under direct sun light. She started to scream that the pregnancy is not a medical condition and she does not care what is our problem! than She spilled vinegar on me and my friend, so our white cloth was covered with black spots...screamed "Pffff" and left!
I can not imagen a person with a brain in her head allowing her self to say things like that especially to a client! She is definately crazy! She is dangerous to be around ...especially clients. She should be medically tested!
With regards to the food - it is not tasty and the pricing is way to high.
Not recommended! keep out!

I was moved to write a review of this noisy restaurant after an evening there with friends recently. The place is noisy. Each person on my table asked the waiter - and even the owner - to turn the music down. They turn it down for 30 seconds before cranking up the '90s pop music even louder than it was before. We ordered a round of drinks. It never came. We reminded them about the round of drinks. It still never came. The food is generally poor. Do not order the seafood salad. You will receive three severered prawn heads with two prawn bodies. I guess they figure the extra prawn head adds a pleasing Godgather-esque quality to your meal. I appreciate tha tries to squeeze in too many people so waiters came to push the table in tight against my friends who were sitting against the wall. When it came time to leave my friend had to push the table out so she could leave. Glued to the floor, the table wouldn't budge but then it jerked forward a centimetre, toppling a glass on the table as it did so. It was at this moment that the restaurant owner (who had been sitting at a table with a friend chatting instead of getting the drinks we tried to order twice) sprang to attention. In the manner of a pubescent football-team captain in a junior high canteen, he began clapping and jeering us for breaking a glass, encouraging the other diners in the restaurant to join in the clapping. What a wonderful human being he was to see if he could further humiliate his paying customers in this way.
So come to Gusto Trattoria! Remember: when they dont bring the drinks you ordered, simply make a small error and watch this preeningly inattentive bully spring to attention!
