I visited Joyau with a couple of colleagues and really enjoyed the high level of service and guidance by the staff and the great quality of the food and wine. I would recommend for both families and business.
We had a lovely dinner, the food was really good, fresh and tasty. They also serve a great white wine and mocktail. But the service was what really set this place apart: the friendliest staff I've ever come across in Antwerp!More

I went there on last sunday and I was realy warmly welcome even if I don't speek dutch.
Very warm welcome, smiles and patience to explain the menu. Realy tasty and good dishes. I do recommend this restaurant and don't be afraid to go there...even if it is not in the center. This is not far from (15 minutes) it and much better than a majority of places in the center.More

The concept is great: cuisine à la carte (? See down) for adults and children always happy having fun and eating in a separate room with very good babysitters.
Parents can check via web cameras what their children do upstairs while chatting and having lunch...or dinner in a calm clean relaxed atmosphere.
The owner is very polite and he checks personally if clients are satisified.
Location: very poor. Sad street.
Decoration is nice, very clean.
The wine list: poor, not really up to the exposed prices.
tartare de bœuf : The meat Did not look freshly cut and the taste of the sauce was overwhelming.
Pavé de bœuf : good, just the portion too small.
French fries: excellent, in Belgium you are on th safe side. They leave the skin which I like very much.
Vol au vent- chicken: the sauce was prevaricating the taste of the whole dish. Ordinary mushrooms tasting cheese.
Carrots soup: too creamy.
No Olive oil in this kitchen.
Ordinary desserts you can by at Tesco
Price: includes the babysitting, still a bit expensive.
The most negative point : we were a big group with reservation and we arrived very early: nonetheless we were obliged to choose in bulk keeping a maximum of three types of main courses.
I find this unacceptable for a restaurant à la carte. This makes my judgement so negative.
I hope they can change this.More
Had dinner reservations on a Friday based on a publicity leaflet otherwise we would never have found this place. Everything is tasteful: the setting and decor, the food and wine. A bit uncommon in Antwerp: staff is super friendly. Only positive notes about this hidden...gem.More

I visited Sensunik with a couple of colleagues and really enjoyed the high level of service and guidance by the staff and the great quality of the food and wine. I would recommend for both families and business.
Sensunik has been renovated, new owners, since then, prices has increased.
concept is nice, kids are happy to go there, but it is not worth the money anymore.
Menu: bistro food, not a lot of choice
staff is very friendly though
We stayed from twelve until four in the afternoon, and our three kids have been attended to all the time. We had time to eat with our friends, while the kids eat upstairs and played all along. Service is very good, so friendly :) ....A bit pricey, but worth it.
We'll definitely go back!More
