funny, close to the centre but there are better choices nearby, so not too sure you should limit youself

To bad that the blond girl Martha is leaving this place. Very pleasant service with always a great smile. Sad to hear that she will be leaving. Hope I can experience her service once more in Antwerp. Great food, funny statues. See you in a...month.More

We had the house style beer and french fries. Both where delicious. The setting of the café is superb as the decoration. Dont forget to go upstairs

Came here for drinks with friends and noticed the service has gone done and the tables were sticky and the staff didn’t care.

Sticky tables, musty odor, inattentive service...fine for a touristy beer and snack in a central location of town to major attractions, but absolutely nothing to write home about except for the neat religious statues everywhere, which creates (I suppose) "instagrammable moments" for visitors? Otherwise, you'd...be better served going elsewhere!More

An original interior and a classical menu is a winning proposition for this restaurant, which gets full pretty easily, so don’t forget to reserve! Excellent mussels.

The '11e gebod' (11th commandment) is a theme bar/restaurant with lots (really, really lots) of old religious icons and statues. It also is a place where you are greeted friendly when you enter and where drinks and food are great. Not surprisingly: it is quite...crowded and touristy; something that can also be seen by the way you order : via a tablet (which is fine). Service, once you have ordered, is swift and friendly. As said: it is a one-of-a-kind place with great Belgium food for reasonable prices so it is definitely worth a visit. Note: The bar is unsuitable for wheelchairs or strollers: because of the narrow space available and (since it is an old building) the difference in heights.More

I came here one day for lunch. Their lunch options are... lacking, so I tried the omelette, which was OK. The place is very interestingly decorated inside. The tablets for ordering work mostly fine (but they're fixed and cannot be rotated to see the screen...better). Probably a good place to enjoy some beers but cannot recommend the food.More

I've been here twice in the last two months and have not been disappointed. I had been here before years ago and am still delighted by the place. Its a great place to bring visitors to Antwerp as its a great conversation starter. See the...pictures and judge for yourself. Its right next to the cathedral and in the beautiful old quarter. Very safe at night and there's private parking closeby if coming by car. The variety of Belgian beers is very large and there's some good traditional Belgian dishes for those who wish and some typical Western food also (steak, ribs, etc). First time I had the steak which was very good and 2nd time I had ribs, called Adam's ribs as many of the dish names play on religious themes. The ribs were good but nothing special as I've had better in "American" restaurants. I would suggest something more traditional. The service is good and friendly despite having little staff. The secret may lie in that every table has a tablet computer from which you order or request your bill. I will definitely be back and next time I think I'll try the traditional Belgian mussels.More

I've already visited a lot of beer places, but this one was really special! And their "honey beer" was absolutely perfect!
