We stayed opposite this place, it's very clean and well maintained, the staff were all very helpful and the service was quick, though they were very quite that night. The food was of a very good standard and we both enjoyed the four course asparagus...menu, yes, it was a lot of asparagus and we were grateful that there was no asparagus in the yummy deserts!More
We visited Jeanty's on New Years Eve and had a great leisurely lunch. The starters were excellent to be followed by sea bass and cod finished by off with some mouth watering deserts. I can definitely recommend the trio of chocolate mousse. Wine was reasonably...priced and the service was very good. It was clear that everything was cooked to order so forget fast food sit back and enjoy. On New Year's Day after a good walk we finished near to the cathedral and were delighted to find the restaurant was open. We went in for lunch and had equally good food. I must single out their cooking of my steak, when so many UK restaurants seem incapable of cooking a medium rare steak the chef at Jeanty's got it spot on. Service was again excellent even though the staff had worked until very late on New Year's Eve.More
Having arrived at a nearby restaurant and being told that we'd have to wait in line even though we'd booked a table, my wife and I decided not to wait and we stumbled on nearby Jeanty's, and were delighted with the service and the food,...in fact it was the best meal we ate during our four day stay in Antwerp. We both ate the sea bass that was cooked perfectly and when it was time to leave, we were the last couple in the restaurant but the staff didn't try to get us to go, in fact they encouraged us to stat saying they still had a lot of preparation for the next day. Great atmosphere, lovely food and friendly staff at a reasonable price, what more could anyone want!More

After stumbling across this restaurant as we were looking for somewhere for lunch, we decided to give it a go. We sat outside in the sunshine and all chose the three course set lunch menu. It was actually 4 courses as there was a small...chef’s starter too! The food was excellent; we started with soup, followed by steak and finished with chocolate mousse another delicious creamy dessert. The service was very good too. We were in Antwerp for the Christmas market and happened upon Jeanty's on our way to the main square, so glad we walked down the backstreets, would otherwise have entirely missed this gem of a restaurant. The day menu caught our eye, especially since friets...(Belgium style!) were on the menu, 3 courses for 21 euros, and I know what you're thinking - to good to be true! Forget it! Went for the tournados option.Fabulous well prepared meal, everything, including amuses freshly made and delicious, pleasant interior and very friendly service. Just wish I lived closer! Walked past, looked good. Sat outside in the blazing sun which got a little too warm, not there fault! Beef plate and mussels plate( of course) beef 4 course mussels 3 but they served us both 4 at no extra charge. Food delicious but the...service was slow it took us 2 hours for lunch. We have visited this cozy restaurant on Tue 14 Feb 17 to have a Valentine's Menu. I must say that we have booked using a so-called "Social Deal", meaning that we had a 50% reduction on the regular price. For a total of 50 Euro...we have had a cold and warm starter, an entrée, a main-dish and a desert. Next to this we have ordered a bottle of very good white house wine. All dishes were equally delicious and the service was very friendly and in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this restaurant when you visit Antwerpen!More
This is a nice place and the food was pleasant rather than outstanding, but the service was shocking. We were brought four little canapes "on the house" after waiting almost an hour, by which time we had finished our carafe of house wine (my husband...thought it was Ok: I would recommend getting a bottle). Our dinner eventually arrived - by this time, we had been waiting well over an hour. We were not that hungry (fortunately) so we only ordered a main course: the set menus are much better value. I asked for a pudding and was told they had sold out: the alternative, Dame blanche, was absolutely fine but nothing out of the ordinary. It is a nice restaurant, and the waitresses were very pleasant, but I couldn't believe how long we were kept waiting without a sniff of an apology.More

This restaurant is located in the historic centre of Antwerp not far from the Hilton hotel. The first good point was that it has a very easy online booking system, and it just got better from there. The food is excellent and was also very...good value. We enjoyed a Rabbit dish at €19 a Sole Menuire market price €28. There is also a very good value 3 course menu at €28. The meal and service were first rate and the surrounding suitable "swish" with chandeliers, flowers etc. From an extensive menu I opted for one of the specials "The Meat Menu". These are shown on a separate page and have four courses listed. Prices in the...30-40 euro range excluding drinks. Before the first course we were served an amuse bouche of tuna mousse over chopped tomato and cucumber together with a crispy potato croquette. Delicious tomato soup followed and then we had melt in the mouth cheese croquettes. Mains was filet steak which was SO tender and served with braised endive, carrots and frits. Dessert was piped chocolate mousse and tiramisu served in a shot glass. Tap water was brought on request. Lovely service from a young woman made the evening one to remember.More
