We passed by and we didn't had a reservation, we were early so if we were ready before 19.30 it was no problem. It's an old cafe turned in to restaurant with lots of details saved. Open kitchen. Staff very welcoming and no posh behavior,...very relaxed. Nice to talk about restaurants from our home town and shared experiences. Food and drinks were 100% price quality. Menu no over the top hip and happening dishes but proper food. Highly recommend this place, we be back for sure.More
Great place, nice nmenu, extremely friendly staff. Could dine without reservation The anmuse was a nice soup, but uneatable as wy to much pepper. Sorry to say that the same aplied to the ceasar Salad. Did send both back and asked bill, No gesture, 37...euro;s I explained that this slightly expensive for 2 glasses of wine, Only reply was sorry. A no go place for me a pitty as looking at the place and other reviews they should do good, For some reason somebody just overpepperd my dishes. Mouth is still burning.More
Really nice location, easy to walk and close by the tram. Rooms are totally new and complete. Love the restaurant, specially de morning coffe. We have a great time!

Just go here if you have no other option as we did one sunday night. This is standard eetcafe, with standard food, standard frites and standard frozen fish. Overpriced.
What a great place. We went here on the recommendation of friends and are so pleased we did. Best meal we’ve had in Antwerp. As soon as you walk in, there is a friendly greeting. Cosy and welcoming, we were seated towards the rear of...the bar. The music was perfect, the beer delicious and the food to die for. We asked our host for a recommendation and we both went for the beef stew. Deliciously tasty, moreish and with the accompaniment of croquettes and fries...a perfect meal. Dessert of chocolate mousse finished it off wonderfully! I can not recommend this place more. If you are looking for a casual hidden gem where you can chill and have good food and drink, then this is the place. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.More

This place is magic. It is very reasonably priced but the food is high end dining. I started with an amazing salmon toast. Followed by a devine lamb Cutler course. As cool as it gets... Stopped for a drink late Sunday night. Nice decor, laid-back / contemporary. Can’t say about the food, but they played early Steely Dan and we were served coffee and rum quickly and with charm. Nearly taken my boots off...

Pre-dinner drinks at the bar. Small menu, but it's not a big place. We all had starters and more drinks. The main course was then about an hour later, whether this was because we were too busy drinking and talking or not, I've no idea....However, it didn't spoil the evening as by the time we realised we were getting hungry, the food had arrived. Ribeye steak was cooked as requested. Everyone found the food really nice. I believe we spent a good 3.5 hours in there, all of it good fun in a cosy atmosphere.More
