I have 1 comment: what kind of Middle Eastern restaurant charges for bread? What do you want me to eat my hummus with, my fingers? Obnoxious.More

Dear Yasmine, thank you for your comment. We always serve complementary bread with our houmous. however, we do charge for extra bread as do many Middle Eastern restaurants. If you did not receive your complementary bread please contact me on the restaurant number 03/3363001
Went to this cosy place in the middle of Antwerp with 3 other friends on a Friday evening. Reserved a table around 8.45pm, arrived on time. Table not ready, had to wait around 15 minutes.
Asked where we could wait, were told to wait outside....Not a great start, but understandable on a busy Saturday evening. Asked for a menu so we could order some drinks, were offered the house cocktail instead (which ended up being the most expensive one, at around €14 per cocktail). Got our table after about 20 minutes, still hadn't seen a menu after asking twice. The restaurant is small, and understandably so, the tables are quite small as a result. However, it almost felt like we were having dinner with a party of 8 instead of 4, as we bumped into the people eating next to us pretty much every 15 minutes as they were seated so close to us. Not great.
Asked a third time, were offered the menu and ordered quickly afterwards (after calling the waiter twice). Ordered some appetizers to share as a starter and 4 main courses (with sweet potato fries). Took another half an hour to get the first appetizers, which were the sweet potato fries. Though they were delicious, we expected them at the main course as they were a side and not a starter. When asking the waiter about why we got them first, he told us sweet potato fries were always given as a starter when ordered. We found this quite strange, as the menu clearly says it is a side dish. Anyways, they were delicious so we said it was fine for us. It took another 10 minutes before our starters came. This started to feel like we got the fries because we had already been at the restaurant for 1.15h and hadn't seen any food yet…
After this, things got better. The starters were absolutely delicious and the main course followed not too long after we had finished the starters. Though a bit much (which is fine obviously), all of this was amazingly well prepared and cooked. We finished eating around 10.30pm.
Overall, we all felt the food was really something to come back for, as it was amazing. However, we also felt the service was a bit rude and certainly not at the top of their game. In a way, it ruined what could have been a perfect evening. Go here, but know you come for the food and not the service.More
I stumbled upon this restaurant and have been back three times since. Fantastic tapas, extremely fair prices and great for groups. We celebrated my birthday here and they helped organize a delicious tart for dessert! Highly recommend
