It starts when entering the restaurant, the smell is just delicious!
Started off with some Crab Rangoon, a fried dim sum. Just perfect!!
Finished my lovely dinner with General Tso's. You could taste that the beef had been braised for 24h. And that General Tso...sauce :-O D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S.
Planning to return asap!More
Went on the off chance to get in after a recommendation from our air bnb host and it did not disappoint. Every dish not only looked beautiful but tasted amazing! It’s a little bit pricey if you’re after something on a budget but the food...and cocktails were worth the treat!More
SumSum is anything but an average asian restaurant
I wandered in with two friends on a Wednesday night, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible atmosphere of the the restaurant. The restaurant was filling up quickly (it was almost 7:30 pm) but...we managed to snag a table.
Our Dim Sum arrived first and were delicious. We then received all the different dishes we have ordered and every one of them were simply incredible. We are looking forward to come here again!More
We come to this place quiet often now. The food is excellent, there's a variety of dishes to choose from and their chef makes daily new suggestions inspired from Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese cuisine (if I'm not mistaken). Just so good. This place is...my favorite asian in Antwerp.More
We had a nice dinner. The front part of the restaurant is much nicer than the back, so that’s where you want to sit.
Food was very good, the kitchen had a problem following but we were not in a hurry..... Good service.
This was our first visit and we will go back.
The food has not been Europeanized to the point of no recognition and there were real Asian flavours recognizable in all disches (2x6x dim sum, 3x bao, sea bass).
Atmosphere and service were relaxed but...attentive. The music was however, a bit too loud and not quite suitable for dinner, after all we are in Europe.More
Very good food and nice atmosphere! I went with some friends. It is nice if you are with other people because you can share and taste different dishes. We ordered all the types of ravioli, all very good. And the specialty is the 'bao bao'...with the typical steam bread. I also loved the fact that they served me the tea in the nice stone tea pot ;)
I really recommend this place!More
