Had dinner here with two friends from the US. Thoroughly enjoyed the food. Expertly prepared and we didn't have to wait too long to get it. Further up the street is a beautiful baroque church, well worth seeing.

The horse steaks are of course to be recommended when you are here but they serve meat and fish courses for everybody's taste.

This restaurant serves a wide range of beef and horse steaks. The beef was excellent as were the sweetbreads and the starters (scallops with asparagus) were well cooked. The service is good and the atmosphere pleasant and friendly. Not a spectacular restaurant but a very good one.

It is a cute restaurant but i was hugely dissapointed with their food. Being an asperges lover I ordered some "asperges soup with smoked salmon and bruchetta". It came very watery, no smoked salmon and no bruchetta. I asked for bread and was given a welcome style bread basket. The main courses were ok, good fish, good size portions. However,... More

I like to be positive, and we went there based on reviews, but it was a really let-down. The white asparagus (and the egg around it) lacked any seasoning (i.e. no salt) as was swimming in unsalted butter. I ordered my steak medium-rare, and received rare. We both ordered the steak to be served with the herbed butter. My friend's... More

Great restaurant for dry-aged beef and the Belgian specialty; horse steaks. Excellent service and value for money. A big flaw was the second serving of French fries, for which they served the left-over fries that were fried again at the end of the lunch shift... a let-down and a finish on a down after an overall good meal.

Every time we come here for lunch or dinner, we're never disappointed. Wheter you go for the a la carte steak (also dried aged steak and even horsemeat steaks) or you take the monthly menu, you will not be disappointed. It's a cosy place in the old quarter of Antwerp. You will need to walk a bit as the closest... More

Been there regularly, same good food. Menu with drinks ( wine ) included is good value for money. Sitting can be tight. After er few visits the food becomes very predictable. Still a good choice when one visits Antwerp.

This restaurant's specialty is horse meat steaks. We chose the 39 Euro 3 course menu. Overcooked white asparagus came sloshed in unsalted butter with a scattering of hard boiled egg and a square of cold pressed ham on the side. Then a large slab of rump steak (not horse) - no seasoning nor sauce - with a scattering of "assorted... More
