Real authentic Italian food. I’ve tried a few dishes now and it’s all equally delicious and the wines are amazing! My favorite Italian place to go to!

The food was delicious , but don’t start a chat with the owner if you don’t have plenty of time, saying that, she was very friendly. The place is decorated in a sort of classical brasserie style, music was more a beach lounge bar then...easy dining, but overall a positive experience.More

It already started when phoning, THE lady: the kitchen closes at 21hrs! We should have known better and gone elsewhere. Upon arrival, there was only one other table of 2. We ordered starters and mains. In general when a dish or part of a dish...is not available, I appreciate honesty. But here THE lady tells you when she brings the plate that they ran out of burrata and replaced with buffala, just like that! Sorry, not done! The other 2 starters were OK but also nothing more. One of our mains was a stew of game, like thrown on some pasta. I had the liver of veal, which was OK. Also deserts were very average. As described in other reviews the service and grumpiness of the waitress is a disaster. Her mood and way how she closed the front door in somebody's face I will never forget. But when 3 mins later 5 known guys arrived, they were welcome. Again: not done! I live in Antwerp and I will never return. Plenty of other much better and nicer Italian restaurants in town, believe me.More

I had originally decided on dining at Fogo but found this Italian restaurant instead. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The seating arrangements were intimate and very well presented with a number of diners in attendance. I was not particularly hungry so after scanning...the menus decided on Linguini Vongole which was prepared fresh while I waited. When the food arrived I was impressed with it visually and by the size and number of class. The food was delicious and being a light sauce not too filling. I came away from the restaurant feeling good happy and deciding to visit again in the not too distant future.More

After an exhausting day and very tired we walked in, because of an review we read to order. The waitress was a little bit abruptly and snappy. I choosed to ignore that, we were hungry and tired. It took a while and there was the...food. She served our drinks and some bread and I thought maybe she's tired too, running alone all the time. I smiled at her,but that didn't help. The place was not even packed. As I said, my plate was good, I had the sea bass and my husband lambchops. Good food, good cook, the waitress not that friendy, cranky.More

This restaurant is located in the trendy area "'t Eilandje". It's a cosy restaurant with a nice Italian atmosphere. We only went here for lunch, but the lunch menu was excellent. Our wine (Vino Nobile) was not in stock but the alternative suggested (Nero d'Avola)...was good. We very much appreciated this lunch.More

Went with my larger family including a few elderly aunts. I chose and pre-tasted the wine. Therefore it should have been clear that I wanted to drink some also. To my surprise the second bottle was emptied in the glasses of my aunts and I ended...up with hardly anything except the question: would you like at third bottle then? The food is OK but the plates aren't heated so dished go cold quickly. One of both waitresses didn't understand any Dutch at all (in Antwerp?). We paid 55 Euro/pp which is on the high side for the really small quantities served..More

quite busy place for a Monday evening - plenty of choice - quality food OK but nothing special or exquisite. Very friendly service.

It was great to find an Italian restaurant that had a uniquely Belgian flavor to it. The menu had some standard items but some unusual ones as well. Especially delicious was the shrimp and lobster in curry sauce which included lobster-stuffed ravioli. Even a simple...dish such as pasta bolognese was very good. The restaurant was small but cozy. We appreciated the quiet atmosphere after a busy day. The service was good.More
