The Martes staff are all well trained and friendly! I've been here time and time again. Everytime service is quick and the food, cakes, tarts and drinks are tasty and well made. You can sit on the Canal in summer time and enjoy the ducks...and boats passing by.More

I had the great pleasure of eating several times at Martes during my trip to visit friends in Den Haag. My first visit was for breakfast,which I was lucky enough to eat outside on the gorgeous terrace over looking the canal. I ordered the smoked...salmon bagel. Delicious freshly baked bagel and generous portion of salmon, well presented. Coffee with oat milk was excellent. Later in the week I ate lunch, the vegetarian 'Buhda Bowl' with an ice cold glass of Chardonnay and was very pleased! My 3rd visit I sampled the excellent pear and white chocolate tart which was truly sublime. I would definitely recommend Martes for delicious food, good value and great service.More
