Excellent service and great food in a fantastic traditional brown cafe. They had a great choice of beers and the menu was limited, but tasted great. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening here and would visit again.

Dutch "brown" pub with lovely atmosphere. Serves tapas, salads, Indonesian chicken sate with French fries, and cheese fondue. We ordered the fondue. It was not fully liquid (could have served warmer) but it was delicious, with good side-dishes. Also excellent wine selection for a pub.

Spent a quiet Tuesday night there recently. The bar staff were really friendly and good fun. The playlist had some cracking tunes on it. There is a very good selection of beers. The Hertog Jan was very drinkable. I had the spare ribs which were...good and fairly priced. Its well located. Would recomend it if you fancy a drink with friends or on your own.More

We ordered sate from them through foodora, a schnitzel, a chicken and a pig sate, plus 2 beers, total bill 50 euros. Please see my pictures on how the sates arrived, with no sate saus!!!! Also fries with no saus! When I called them they...had no real solution other than to refund the cost and order again with one sate on them...... also they blaimed Foodora, but the sweet girl did not have the saus and normally you deliver the sate with the saus already on it.More

Outstanding fast and friendly service! Good location, nice atmosphere, the beer is cold, fair prices and the food is also good (very good for a café). The service and friendly attitude from the staff is exceptional high. I now been there several times and I’m...still amazed about how fast they serve you at the table even when it is very busy: I just raised my hand, caught the eye of the waiter in the bar, signaled 5 large beers and within 90 sec we have our cold beers served with a genuine smile and friendliness. This is the best café/bar I been to in Holland.More

St.J's has has a face lift! Momfer is now a cleaner, sleaker version. Which is great since we are not 17 anymore! Momfer offers a small variety of tasty snacks to have with a choice of different beers and other choices of cocktails and wines....We were very fortunate to mix with the regulars and celebrated the owner's birthday with free Mussels and fries! Delicious! Hope to be back in the Hague soon to go back!More
