Yesterday we stopped here for 2 capuccinos and a cake. It was around 4pm, then possibly the staff was tired, but quality was awful. Two small coffes, no plates, no side cookie or chocolate on top. Gevulde koek was quite dark and dry. We were only a few people inside. There were two girls working and.did not seem to helpful... More

Cosy, friendly service, great coffee and broodje! The seasonal soup offers a good option and changes with the season.

This is a lovely place to meet a friend over a nice cup of coffee and pastry, or to buy your bread. It is a pity they have such limited choices for vegetarians (only cold dishes and sandwiches!). Therefore I have asked if I could order one of their "toasties" with cheese only, leaving the ham out. The answer was... More

The rye bread with currants is really delicious especially when it is real fresh. With a lot of salty butter. Yum! In fact all the bread and pastry is good in here!

I've been a regular customer since the place open in the street. Either I go for lunch by myself or with my friends. Or pass by to buy bread or some desserts. Everything is tasteful and everyone there are friendly.

When you walk in to this restaurant you walk past the bakery and so see (and smell) all of the beautiful breads and pastries. I had a really good fruit smoothie which was well priced (they can be overpriced and watered down -- but not this one, it was great). I had a sandwich which was freshly prepared and was... More

We had a great breakfast at Vlaamsch Broodhuys in The Hague. Simple and tasty: two slices of nutbread with chocolate spread and coffee. The only point for improvement was the coffee: it could be a bit spicier... But nice place for a casual and tasty breakfast or brunch

We came there hungry. It took a while before we could place an order for a coffee and a cappuccino. It took another while before it arrived. The coffee was weak and lukewarm. Yet another wait till we could order food. We both ordered a salmon sandwich. Some more waiting for the food to arrive The bread is good, the... More

Certainly has a typical "The Hague" price stamp, but the bread is the best you can get in The Hague and the people working there are really making it worth going there =) Superb place for Hangover-Breakfasts! ;)

It's a cozy cafeteria with bakery (or viceversa) . Nice environment and friendly staff. You can feel home. Good food mostly freshly baked. Quite slow service and sometimes they come so late that your children are already upset! You can only pay by card. I'll go back for sure.
