Have been going to this restaurant for years now, mainly for lunch during weekends. Your guarantee that you'll be getting 'real' Chinese food and atmosphere: it is always packed with Chinese guests - to the extent that sometimes you feel like the 'odd one out' (though no one tries to make you feel this way!). Love nearly everything they serve... More

This is one of the best chinese restaurants in town. Lots of chinese families go here, already for generations, to enjoy the chinese speciality dishes.

This is my favorite place in Rotterdam and I would hate it to be fully booked every night. So I don't want to be too enthusiastic here. But I have to say, the duck is the best.

I've been on this restaurant so many times that I was puzzled by some negative reviews. What people don't realize is when you go to an ethnic restaurant, chances are you will end up somehow disappointed if you don't know what to order and what to expect. Tai Wu is a Kantonese restaurant and the best Chinese restaurant I've been... More

Went here with my son and Chinese wife for the second time and we loved it. This time a Sunday lunch with dumplings (pot stickers, fabulous!!), bapao, noodles and fried rice with beef which were all very good. Sieuw mai was a bit disappointing. Service was good and the place was full at 1 PM. Service is fast, friendly and... More

Must admit that popular place but oh boy where is the taste in the dishes served. Seems like no spices have been added or could be the loclas just don't like real Chinese food. let's hope that they strat to put some favour into their meals.

Good friendly service. A very welcoming host for late arriving diners. And reasonably priced. But the food was so very bland. It's hard to make Chinese food with absolutely no flavour, but they somehow pulled it off. Just generally a bit of a let down after reading the other positive reviews.

It started so well! The place and its decor are typically kitsch and tacky chinese, we came around 7 and the place was packed, we only had to wait 10 mins for a table. We ordered 2 different types of starters platters to share, one with the steamed oyster and squid and another one mainly with prawns. They were both tasty... More

This place doesn't look like much from the outside with blacked out windows and a small shop front, but when we went it we were confronted with a very large restaurant with a great buzz. We had a set menu which was good value for money, there was no stand out dish but all the food was nice and well... More
