I was really disappointed with this restaurant's service. I already booked and got confirmation via phone call. My customers from Belgium arrived there, after having the seats, they informed that they were not able to serve as kitchen closes. We starved and felt angry because...of that. Very nice decor, colorful and modern, and nice location on the banks of Rotterdam. The staff was efficient but English menus didn't exist, i think it's unacceptable for a city like Rotterdam and for a restaurant of this kind. Anyway, a decent bowl of salmon...costs 18.5 euros, a crunchy chicken salad 15.5 euros, a blond Leffe 5 euros and a Coca Cola zero 3.5 euros.More
The restaurant has a beautiful and colorful interior. The food portions were also colorful and tasty. However, the restaurant should pay special attention to the acoustics. The space was really noisy and it was difficult for the table group to hear each other. It was...also challenging to hear the waiters' speech. I had lunch there last Saturday. We found a very nice stuff. The waiter who helped us was fast and very capable. The food was lovely. I had a vegan poke which was very very well made. My friend had a brunch dish with many...different kind of snacks and she really liked it also. We had some hummus with bread, 2 beers each 2 colas and we spent with tip 70 euro(35euro each). We eat out so we could not really enjoy the location. However was also very lovely to be able to see the water. I suggest the place!More
Don’t waste your time with this restaurant, the service is horrible. Our reservation was meant to end at eight, and they were rushing us out by seven thirty, trying to get us to leave, 0/10.

Nice place that I visit quite often for lunch. The food is tasty and every platter looks like a little piece of art. They serve nice cocktails and coffee too. They have inside and outside seating, with a view over the water.

This is a beautifully decorated restaurant with a big terrace overseeing the water. This location makes me feel like I am on holiday. We came here for some drinks and snacks. The service was friendly, the drinks were good, and the snacks were decent. One...improvement point is the fried calamari, which had too much batter. While we were staying in the Central Rotterdam area, we were able to try a number of the local restaurants and By AMI Urban Bistro was a place that we really liked! The first thing that you notice is that the restaurant has a very...fun and funky feeling to it and you know that you’re going to have a good time! Colorful restaurant with friendly staff and good comfort food. Around us several people were throwing a small party so it’s a well-known location. If you are looking for lunch or dinner, By Ami is a great Urban Bistro. The food is fresh and interesting, the staff are welcoming! Ate here a couple of times - only small issue is they don't have an English menu, but the staff...were wonderful at translating for us.
