This week, we dined at Bomm twice. The menu immediately caught our attention, as did the daily specials. The food is absolutely outstanding. The service is fantastic, with incredibly friendly staff and a wonderfully personal touch. On top of that, the Gin & Tonic and the cocktails were a big hit as well. I believe we've found a new favorite restaurant. This is a dining spot I would recommend to everyone.

Amazing dinner

Had a great time at Bomm together with my family. The food was delicious and staff was very kind. I would totally recommend the bavette and mussels. Hands down one of my favorite restaurants

Loved the Premium black angus burger

I ordered the Premium black angus Bomm burger and it was delicious! Putting a slice of pancetta on this burger was just what it needed to make it mouth watering. Every bite was a bit salty from the pancetta, the salad leaves were still crunchy, the meat very juicy and the little sourness from the pickle tops everything off.

Disappointing high wine

We visited Bomm as we received a gift voucher for a high wine, and they participate in this scheme. We were allowed two glasses of wine and some food. The wine list was very short and the Sauvignon blanc advertised on the menu was no longer available, there was a very limited choice of wines anyway, which is disappointing if you go for a high wine experience. We had a voucher for 100 euro and the wines were together 36 euro, so 64 euro left for food. For this we received some bites, which tasted well ( mini burgers, some salad, mussels, a slice of prosciutto and one small slice of french cheese). All together by far not worth the 64 euros that were left on our gift voucher. The waitress was cold and not very accommodating. So my recommendation: do not use any high wine vouchers here. There must be much better places to spend it than here.

During your recent visit, we found your behavior to be quite disruptive. Upon arrival, you assigned yourself a table without making eye contact with our staff. Additionally, you placed your orders without any interaction with us. Your behavior, including your attempts to exploit your voucher down to the last penny and expecting more and more exceptions and extras, was very disappointing and bothersome to us. Unfortunately, we have come to the conclusion that our expectations do not align with your behavior and expectations as a guest. Therefore, we regret having accommodated you and not being able to meet your expectations. It's disheartening to see that your experience is being shared multiple times on the platform. This experience has made us realize that we need to better assert our boundaries and cannot tolerate behavior like yours. Bomm charges prices that are comparable to high-end establishments, yet falls short in terms of its offer and appearance. The decor, interior, and furniture range from tasteless to shabby. Moreover, the food is exorbitantly priced for small portions that lack flavor, ingredient quality and creativity. This stark contrast between the prices and the underwhelming dining experience is off-putting to customers, and frankly almost offensive. It's a shame because Bomm would have the potential to be a charming destination in town, and it does provide high-quality napkins, which is a rarity in itself in the Netherlands.

We had several pre-dinner drinks. The wine glasses are smaller than usual. I ordered a third glass of rose. The waitress came up with the bottle and poured into the glass. In the bottle remained a driblet (less than a finger). I asked the waitress if she could empty the bottle. She refused and told us the restaurant ‘had certain rules’ and that this ‘was a matter of costs’. This made us feel instantly unwelcome. I then spoke to the manager who continued the argument. Het later showed up at the table with the same (almost empty) bottle. We explained that it not about the costs but rather about the very calculated businesslike response. The manager offered no solution left again with the bottle! In any other circumstances we would have ordered desserts, coffee and would have given a tip of at least 15%. At Bomm nobody seems to understand that arguing with a customer over such a simple issue puts the customer on the defensive and causes a minor issue to escalate. Service fulfills a need, but hospitality fulfills people. Focus on ROC (Return of Customer) and not on ROI. Our dinner was ruined. We quickly paid (no tip) and left. We will never come back and recommend you stay away from Bomm if you want a flawless memorable evening.

Angus bavette with Rotterdam pass consumed. Meat was delicious, but that was also the only thing on my plate. Underneath my flesh was a little mash. When I ask if there would be any vegetables or trimmings served with it, the answer was no that lies under your meat. Final score 45 euros for a piece of meat a drink and a bread board (2 people). Incl 50% discount. This meal would normally cost 90 euros 😂😂😂 my opinion. This offer g is adapted to the so-called 50% discount! You will simply be offered 50% of the menu! Bomm Disappointing

Used the Rotterdam action Mussels for 50%. From € 28,= for € 14,=. You will receive less than a quarter (=25%) of a regular standard mussel pan. The fries fit in a coffee mug. The salad is not part of the Rotterdam campaign. So you don't get a 50% discount, you get a different product. Will not be the only one who was disappointed, because there were only customers with the Rotterdams. Drinking on was pushed, however, to generate revenue. Eventually settled a decent amount, for what was supposed to be a nice offer. Turnover inside, action failed! Because the intention of a promotion will be that customers come back sometime. Great welcome by staff, very pleased. They have a nice outdoor seating area with afternoon sun - quick and friendly service. I tried the 'best burger in Kralingen' on the menu, which was very tasty - but not thé best I've ever had. Still, all in all a great place to have a fine meal. Expect higher-end bar prices (aprox. €50 for two burgers and 4 wine)

What a discovery! I ended up going twice and the food was so delicious. I decided to go for the tapas style dishes and every single of them were delicious. Lobster croquettes, prawns, mini-burgers, bacon and dates, all just stunning. Service is friendly and relaxed.

Such a great place to visit again. I have always remembered this lovely restaurant from my last visit to Rotterdam. The restaurant remains to the good vibe and has changed several design details. This time I ordered scallops with Dutch asperagus as starter and Milanese ossobucco as main. Both dishes were very decilious. I need to mark the plating of the dishes which was very artistic! Too bad I had to leave early and had no time for dessert. Next time I will definitely go for the lemon-basil pannacotta! Looking forward to my next visit to Rotterdam and Bomm!

The food: Great food, ordered Nachos as an appetizer (which tasted fantastic, they melted cheese on top and had a little salsa dip). A relatively limited menu card, which is compensated by the extensive specials they were serving - we had the tuna steak burger, tasted fantastic. Their burgers are "the best in Kralingen" like they advertise ;) The service: Waiter was incredibly kind, always asking if we were enjoying our food, great at explaining the specials and answering any questions we had. Overall: Great experience, 5/5
