Huge choice of different pancakes, both sweet and hearty. Other things as well. We had different pancakes, all 40cm in diameter, making it quite a challenge for my young daughter. Very friendly staff. Close to museums.

Typical large pancakes, with a wide choice of toppings, in a nice traditional place (like a brown cafe). Friendly service when not too busy.

I read the reviews here and was curious and sceptical at the same time. What can be so special about pancakes? Well, these pancakes are good but price probably includes the fancy plates and the history of this restaurant. Overpriced. Probably not much better than other pancake restaurants in Leiden.

We have visited this restaurant many times if we are in Holland but always forget to write a review. This time, we did it. For us, this restaurant serve the best pannekoek. The base and its topping are just simple but tasty.

While you're here, eat some traditional Dutch food! We had savory pancakes (more like thin crepes) with ham and cheese. Nice people and good food.

Went here while visiting some friends in Leiden. Didn't really know what to expect. I ordered the Boeren, with bacon, onions and potatoes and my boyfriend ordered the Italienese, with capers, cheese and other great toppings. Both were a bit on the pricey side for a pancake, think 13,50 each, BUT they were well worth it. I have rarely eaten... More

Lovely quaint restaurant with a large selection of Dutch pancakes. We were pleased that even during a busy time, the servers made an effort to seat us (4 adults + 1 toddler). The antiques and classic wooden furniture and booths make for a very cozy ambiance. The pancakes are very large. With a variety of sweet and savory pancakes to... More

The kiosk is cute and easy to reach! The gluten free Pannekoeks are very good even though it would have been better to have more filling over them

Superb pancakes with lots of options for toppings. Very thin (like crepes) and tasty. About 15" wide. I had one with pineapple, apple, raisins, cinnamon and powdered sugar. Reasonable prices. Across the street from central square (Beesmarkt).
