Great food, great staff and I loved every mouthful of the food I had. It has a small outdoor area, but we dined inside. The owner/Head Chef is a great advert for the restaurant as the food he concocts is first class.

The lady on reception advised us of a good restaurant, which was a great place to eat. We never found the restaurant but found this bistro instead. I can honestly say that the meal I had was one of the best that I had ever had. The staff where magnificent the waitresses were fun (very pretty too) with excellent English... More

Decided to eat here while looking for a restaurant near but not in the main square. Tables by the canal were a nice, quiet location to sit and watch the canal and other people. The service was friendly and the food was generally good. I had the Delft special which was very tasty - in particular the creamy soup. My... More

The Bistro de Pijpenla is on Hippolytusbuurt in the historic centre of Delft. Its frontage and interior are small so booking is advisable but the culinary arts practised within are worth making a visit for their excellence and a fair degree of originality. I chose the loin of lamb and my wife Poulet de Bresse both cooked perfectly, the lamb... More

The restaurant charged us for the tap-water , side dish "fried potatoes" was fried to death, overpriced food and even so the wines. Not a single thing that i would recommend.

really slow, dirty glasses, and not polite waiters. The waiters were slow, laughing while looking and unfriendly.

We went here but had the menu from La Mariage, which is where you have 2 smaller portions for each course, we went for the full menu 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 deserts- all amazing, I had pulled beef and cod fillet with wasabi for starter, chicken in red wine and veal for main and chocolate brownie and lemon... Had a wonderful meal here on a dreary Monday evening. The mustard soup is a must have. Very attentive service and the ambiance is great

Nice cosy restaurant near the centre; with some really high quality dishes and innovative use of ingredients. But also serve chips and mayo if you cannot live without them!!

Stopped because we received a coupon for a free coffee because the churches were being renovated. We sat outside beside the canal where we enjoyed our expresso and ordered lunch. We both had the Delft special... soup of the day...truffle, fried egg open faced sandwich, and a Dobbin roll. We topped it off with more coffee and Dutch apple pie.... More
