i came here 2 consecutive evenings, once alone and once with colleagues. Two times it was perfect. Extremely friendly waiters who explain you the day specials in detail and with a smile. You feel home, welcomed, warm and relax. They have La Trappe beer from...tap. Food is just perfectly prepared. My steak was cooked to perfection, great taste and nice fries. Same with my vegetarian aubergine the day after. And the duck from my colleague. And the sea bass. Good, busy atmosphere. Great beers and top service, what do you need more to have a cosy evening? (of course, this is not a fine dining restaurant; there is no exciting food; it is a pub; but with lovely food - highly recommended)More

My husband walked over an hour earlier and reserved a table. Am I glad he did. 5 of us came and got a perfect table inside. It is warm and cozy in this place on a chilly rainy evening. Loved the ambiance with wood surround,...it was truly a charming place with pretty chandeliers and traditional Dutch atmosphere. Tom was our server...he was great...very funny, personable and attentive. Everyone loved their food. Two people shared a pot of mussels. Loved my La Trappe Quad. But Tom was wonderful entertainment with his funny quips. Great time at De Beierd!More

We stopped by for dinner on a recommendation and found a gem near the center of town. We ordered a delicious appetizer, bread, figs with delicious thinly sliced ham. Then proceeded to a yummy curry entree. The person serving was very helpful making us feel...at home. Thank you for a fun evening.More

My husband and I make it a tradition to stop by here on our yearly trip to The Netherlands to see family. We first discovered it New Years Eve 2016 and we’ve been back every year since. The food is amazing! They have a variety...of dishes, and they’re all so tasty! Tonight we had the anti-pasta special (all fresh seafood), the special pasta and special soup. We ordered the Tarte di Limone and Carrot Cake for dessert. We highly recommend the carrot cake! The desserts were perfect- not too sweet like back home ha! Another reason we love this place is the service. The wait staff is always polite and lovely! We can’t wait to come back next year!More

Definitely, if you don't know, you will not believe that this place serves such tasty dishes. It is not a gourmet restaurant, neither a classy one but for sure the food it's much much better than the majority of restaurants in the wider area. They...always have dishes of the day that are worth to try and the guy that explains the menu (maybe the owner) is very friendly and helpful. Finally, the prices are good, if you consider the prices in NL. A must-go tavern in Delft.More

Bar staff very good at recommending the beers and the daily specials. Our 9 euro dish was very good value compared to the other restaurants in Delft. All in all a pleasant experience

My favorite place in Delft to go for a beer or dinner! The staff is amazing; quick service, always combined with a huge smile and showing genuine interest in their customers. The ambiance, both inside and out is great and the whole cafe just has...a great feel to it; no wonder it's always packed! The food, for the price, is great and will suit everyone who will visit. Couldn't recommend any other cafe in Delft more than this one; a must go!More

We loved the cheese platters. We ordered as well the bread (tapenade). Nice service - prices were far away better than in Belgium. Ghent- They have some vegetarian options also. Was a nice family diner.

Being very hungry when we arrived the waiter ensured that our Charcuterie board arrived promptly, followed by a great fondue. Service was good and very friendly and the waiter seemed genuinely interested in us. Loads of locals were at the restuarant as well, which is...always a great indication that it's a go-to place.More

We visited this pub for a drink and beer. If I had not already eaten my own body weight in cheese for breakfast I would have loved to have tried the cheese fondue. We had some had some home made soup followed by a massive...schnitzel which was on the menu of the day. Prices were very good, portions were large. As a fan of quality beer I asked many questions and received knowledgeable as answers.More

Outstanding service even when the place is packed out. Something to suit everyone on the menu with a good range of specials. Nice and relaxed during the day, much busier at night (we got the last table on the monday night we were there). If...you are in Delft this is definitely worth searching out.More

Good food, service and atmosphere. Not much more you can ask for. The restaurant being always fully booked on weekends, we took a while to discover the place. Now that we did we make sure we reserve on weekends or just go on weekdays.
