A large, lively restaurant with standard bistro fare. 6 of us had a good meal after a long days work. Nothing fancy but pleasant and unpretentious. Good value for The Netherlands.

The tasting menu was like a seafood feast, totally worth the 38 euros per person. The staff was professional and friendly.

I attended a group dinner at Vis & Meer and had a great time - the meal was very tasty and the staff were very attentive and helpful, really appreciated their effort. The location off one of the alleys near the central canals was charming and added to the experience.

Dutch restaurants are generally known for their great food but this really takes the cake. The service was super friendly and efficient ('would you like another glass of wine?' Yes I would!). Food was also outstanding. Everything was cooked to perfection and the accompaniment to the seafood was also a lot to shout about. I had the risotto and I... More

If you love fish, eat here. I was spoilt for choice, so went for gunard with a little risotto. The service was good and the food even better. It does sell good steaks too.

I had "Chef's choice" three course meal and it was nothing special. I would expect more for the price. Service was slow. Beer was ok.

Could be better had for the price. They offer limited choice. Had some sardine did not feel fresh but eatable. Had a sea bass cooked in salt which was fine but not great. Service a bit slow not and not so friendly.

Nice, cosy and hospitality are the words to say about the restaurant. The salmon was very tender and tasty, the swordfish could have been more fresh, but still good. The restuarant is lying in one of those small, narrow streets, where there is just life.
