The tastiest sushi in the east

The sushi here is really delicious. They are small works of art. There were 4 of us and 3 of us chose the chef's choice. Now I am a stomach patient myself and that means that I can eat much less. I wanted a somewhat smaller menu. They adjusted the menu for me (it was still a bit too much, but my husband didn't think that was a problem), so that I could participate properly (slightly fewer courses, when do you want the next one, take a break or continue). Really very nice.

After impressive August, Oklahoma Japanese dining

After a fantastic theater performance in Augustus, Oklahoma, we were very pleased to be able to visit Tao restaurant again. The restaurant appeared to be fully occupied on this Sunday evening. Unfortunately we ended up in the back and not very attractive room. Shame. The service was friendly and attentive. Since we don't come there often, we decided to take the chef's most beautiful menu. This turned out to consist of a total of 10 courses with the most beautiful and delicious dishes. A tasting of most dishes on the menu. We thought the crayfish soup was tasty, but a bit bland. All other dishes were really fantastic. We start by nibbling the edamame. Then the lobster soup. The sashimi was truly delicious. Super tender and fresh oyster, tuna, salmon and scallops. The uramaki that followed were also all of excellent quality. The duck breast was nicely cooked, tender and tasty. The ebi tempura (large shrimp) were delicious. Then hotategai (3 scallops). Very tasteful. The main course with delicious black angus beef (gyu) with vegetables and rice was perfectly cooked and delicious. And then also dessert. It's a good thing we don't do this so often, otherwise we'd be out of pocket. Excellent address to eat high-quality dishes.

Sushi has of course been quite a hype in recent years, but you have sushi and sushi from Tao. This is really next level. Always very tasty, well prepared, fresh and just a little more special than anywhere else. Top.

Delicious sushi

Have eaten here several times and this time only opted for sushi. Lots of choice, extensive menu. You can put together your own dinner. Absolutely amazing sushi, the flavors, presentation everything was top notch. Very friendly service, smooth service despite the crowds. Reservations recommended, especially on weekends, it is always packed. They also have a take away to enjoy at home.

The Best Japanese Resto in Enschede

The best Japanese Resto we've ever had in Netherlands! I surprised my husband to dine during his Birthday and he had so much fun with it. We both like the food, wine, sake and the service! Thank you to Shing Yin and Dunya for making my husband's birthday extra special. Kudos to the Chef!

Fantastic beef rolls

I have been to Tao twice both due to businesa dinners. Never been a big fan of sushi myself this restaurant was recommended by a colleague whose Japanase wife said it came as close to the real deal as it can. I sushi rolls, both with fish as well as the ones with beed were amazing. The regular meat dishes with chicken and beef very tasty, with sauces packed of flavor. The restaurant is usually full and only issue is that tables are quite close together so it can be very noisy.

Best sushi ever

Incredible restaurant in the heart of Enschede. We wanted to come here for so long and it was really worth it. We went for the surprise menu. Sushi was quite original, nothing like we ever had before. The waiters were very helpful and quite nice! We will come back for sure.

The worth experience ever in my whole life.we booked a table for an early diner we arrive a little bit late the table was empty but they refuse to let us seat in the main room.they give us a table in a small room i think smoking room.when we ask for drink the waiter Sayed we don’t have a menu we ask what do you have he Sayed everything (is it a new drink!!!)we called the manager and he Sayed if you are not happy you can leave!!!we left Very angry and disappointed.i won’t even put a star !!!and doesn’t deserve Michelin price !!!

I've never eaten better Sushi than here. The restaurant has a wonderful ambiance and the personal is really nice. You should definitely try it when you visit Enschede.

Not very much to say except food and ambience combined with friendly service is exceptional. Located just on the outskirts of the city center it is quite easy to get to. Late in the evening parking could be an issue.
