Wide selection of dishes, strange atmosphere, erratic service but all in all rather good value if you don't fancy pretentious dining out.

We ordered Butter chicken and Shahi paneer with an expectation of an authentic Indian food. Its turns out to be a real disappointment for us. Both the curry's was almost similar in taste and texture it was all sweet nothing more than that in it....We expect the pure and authentic India food not this fusion food, please improve it.More
very good staff en very good food i love the chicken tikka massala restaurant is big en look beautiful.
We had the butter chicken and a lamb dish. The sauces were runny and not tasty. The lamb sauce tasted like a watered peanutsauce, which didnt taste like indian food. Service was ok but not great.
A typical Indian looking restaurant, including colorful interior, music and service. Sereval sharing menus available and also many seperate dishes: chicken, lamb, fish or vegetarian. Service is ok, prices reasonable.
Throughout the years I've been here a few times, and it was always my #1 choice if going for Indian food in Haarlem. Regretfully not anymore. We had reservations, but when we arrived (15 minutes ahead of the reservation time) they already told us it...would take some time and we better have some drinks at the bar. Finally our table was ready 45 minutes past our reservation time, so we actually waited an hour ! Ordering also took a long time, and we were told they're out of naan bread, on a Saturday night ? Come on ! It's not that this restaurant just started... My chicken Madras actually was ok, but the others had dishes that weren't too great, and I tasted all of them. Very thin & runny sauces. Starters were ok (onion bhaji, pakora). Luckily the Cobra beer tasted great, although a final mess-up by putting one too many on the bill (no, we didn't stay for pudding or coffee). Never any apologies, shame on you ! What can you, seems to have gone downhill, so next Indian will be a higher listed pick from TripAdvisor. Live & learn.More
Nice ambience, good food and ok service. Unfortunately one of our meals were cold and the service, like most places in and around Amsterdam, was not very friendly, or shall we say, welcoming
Super yummy! Got a few chicken dishes and fish dishes and they were all delicious. Good location in Haarlem too.
We ordered a menu for two, which in my opinion is always to best way to get surprised by the cook. But the choices made in this menu were average. The taste was decent, but not creating wow moments. Service was average. Conclusion: If you...are not looking for something special, but just good Indian food, than this restaurant is a good choice.More
We hadn't made a reservation - we had been wandering around Haarlem for a curry and had picked a few places in mind on the understanding that if one place was full, we'd head to another - but they showed us to a vacant table...upon entry despite it being quite busy. At full capacity, this place is understaffed: I found the service very slow - drinks came quickly with the menu but there was a good half-hour wait before our meal order was taken. Nonetheless, the food arrived pretty quickly after ordering. The meals weren't bad: the prawn madras was good, with some large prawns forming the "meat" of the dish, but the chicken jal frezi wasn't as spicy or rich as I expected. As mains came with rice there was a large container of boiled basmati (like pilau) to share and we'd ordered a nan to the side. Although we had more drinks mid-meal, once we'd finished it took some time to have our table cleared then quite a delay between requesting the bill and receiving it (meaning we missed one train). I liked the meals there but found the beer expensive (7 euros?!) and next time I'm in the area I'm inclined to try somewhere different.More
