Fantastic and lovely staff. They server very generous in drinks and foods as well. The Starter "Parma ham" was dressed with truffelsauce and Parmesan cheese.

Place is nice, very modest, staff is very plight and prompt. Pizza was to tin and to crusty (overcooked).

I cannot even begin to describe how much I enjoyed this restaurant! The staff were so friendly and helpful and the food!! My goodness, it was honestly the nicest pizza I've ever eaten. Cannot recommend Renato's enough.

What a hidden gem, quiet little square and this restaurant is one of the best around, the staff are fantastic, very friendly and welcoming and the food is out of this world! Make this one of your visits if you go to Amsterdam, you won't regret it

Definitely worth a trip off the beaten path to this little neighbourhood pizza place. Specials are good and desserts are the right size. 3 hungry adults and 2 kids for €113. Can't be beat.

Our first stop after dropping out bags off at our rental near by! The guys were nice enough to allow us to order a couple of pizzas right before the kitchen closed! The pizza was delicious! We had the parma, rocket, Parmesan and the diavolo... My husband even went back a second time while we were in Amsterdam. Great restaurant... More

This place has the best pizza I've had in Amsterdam. No joke. If you love Neapolitan style pizza, this is the place for you. It's tiny, sometimes you need a reservation. The menu caters to all types of palates ... Light on the beer menu, but a small solid wine list. My advice, go!

The ambiance and staff are friendly and nice. The pizza's were not bad, but sparsely covered by the necessary ingredients. Furthermore they were slightly on the cool side and one pizza was near not finished at all, missing a few ingredients. The prices are not too high, but that figures. I would recommend other pizzeria's rather than this one.

I love trying Pizza places in Amsterdam. I am convinced I have found the best one already. But since my bf gets sick of going to the same one (I never do) we go ahead and try different ones. So now I can actually have a top three list of Pizza places in Amsterdam. Renato´s is not on my top... More

Staying in De Pijp

Neighborhood Profile
De Pijp
Bustling Albert Cuypstraat serves as the main drag through De Pijp and the location for Albert Cuyp Market, the largest and most famous of Amsterdam’s many outdoor markets. Beyond this sometimes-frantic thoroughfare, tiny lanes beckon urban explorers in search of the latest trends and hidden gems. Nearly half the residents living in De Pijp are foreigners and a good number of them are students. Here you'll find a multitude of ethnic restaurants, great cafes and bars, and a brilliant array of locally owned shops, all catering to a broad range of budgets and tastes.
